"The property itself was beautiful-amazing room, stunning pool and grounds. Unfortunately the staff and services were sparse and the dinner in the dining room was one of our least favorite in Sicily. The word that comes to mind is indifferent. But the facility is both beautiful and convenient to Selinunte which should not be missed. "

"First of all the apartment was extraordinary. The place was thoroughly decorated in a wonderful MENA theme in keeping with the Tunisian vibe in the neighborhood. It was a really remarkable place with great amenities including a full kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, tea, etc and even a washer. The owners were also wonderfully helpful and went above and beyond helping me get my iPad fixed and even taking me to the bus station. I can’t recommend this place enough. The only negative I will say...

"We can’t believe this low-class hotel in which most amenities are broken thst caters to huge tour groups that ovrrtake everything, including loud hip music in the lobby and with no assistance is rated as. 4 star hotel. Breakfast includes horrible inatant coffee preoared in a broken machine obtained wuth difficulty sfter wsiting in s long tour-group service line. Just awful!"

"Our stay was very good. The owners are very helpful and nice. Breakfast was simple but what we needed. We stayed in the apartment with kitchen well equipped just missing a kettle, dining room extra bedroom with beds. Also your own little roof terrace which you could look over the street below down to the sea and up to the village. Ideally positioned in the heart of the village, nice harbour and marina, plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. Lovely village to stay for a short time. "

"This is a very nice hotel, it’s modern and a short walk to marina and beach. We stayed in the apartment, it was nicely decorated with a small kitchen. It has a beautiful pool, which is rare for a hotel in the town of Castellammare. There is no breakfast included or a coffee. You can buy coffee pods for your coffee maker to use in your room. "

"We were delighted with our choice of Marina Di Petrolo. The hotel is bright, smart and very clean. Our family room for my wife, daughter and I was a very good size, nicely decorated and smart. The staff were so nice and friendly at all times, and were always willing to help. We were grateful for the wonderful room cleaning staff who tidied and cleaned our rooms every day. There was an excellent Italian breakfast option every day, including freshly-made coffee of your choice. The location is not completely central but all the main areas of the town are easily accessible by foot, which is better to do anyway! Nevertheless there's a spectacular view of the bay from both the breakfast room and our own room. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was winter, but it looked nice. It would have been nice to have had the option to have meals other than breakfast, but it wasn't difficult to find other places around town (including a terrific pizza delivery place directly opposite!). We would love to come back to Sicily and if we are in this part of the island, Marina di Petrolo will be a definite place to revisit."

Clean and comfortable with a delightful host.

"We enjoyed the full use of the apartment with onsite parking. Once you get the hang of driving in small Sicilian towns, it becomes east to get around. Balestrate has a beautiful beachfront and many lovely restaurants. Our hostess was helpful and friendly. Mille grazie, Rosalia!"
