603 - 2015
We had a wonderful two weeks at Celeste. Condo was perfect, great location on the property, fantastic view and very comfortable set up. Staff and management were fantastic, always available - what ever you needed someone was available to make it happen or would just check to see if you were ok (Victor, Josua, Gabriel, Sonia, Ti, all the security guards, etc). Property was perrfect for adults or family getaways. We had breakfast cooked for us everyday by Araceli who brought in fresh fruit and juice every day along with what ever we wanted for breakfast - great deal and very nice sitting on your terrace having fresh coffee watching the sun rise. Been coming to Huatulco for over 18 years now and this is the best place we have stayed at by far. Furnishings were virtually all by Restoration Hardware both in the condos and all the beach set ups - very nice touch. Fishing on the beach every day, archeological ruins just down the road (Rio Copalita), lots of different birds to see in this area, great food just down the road at Viena (Manfred and Helmut) and then in the town of La Crucecita (safe to visit day or night)about 10 minutes aways from the condo, the church in town is a must see site. Would highly recommend Celeste and Huatulco.

My group was 3 couples, all family members, ranging in age from 20 to 80. The condo was the must luxurious place I have ever stayed. It was very large, with ample room for everyone. Each bedroom was spacious with a generous bathroom. The view is SPECTACULAR, and it's a 2 minute walk from the room to the beach. The cove was so beautiful, and the water warm and clear. I've been asked this about our trip numerous times: Yes, you will be and feel safe. Very safe. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, although many speak little English. We ate breakfast and dinner once at the on-site restaurants. Both meals were about $135 USD for 6 people - more expensive than off-site meals, but certainly way cheaper than a similar American facility. I liked that most of the other guests were Mexican, and the consierge said that it is popular with Canadians during the winter months. Pro Tip 1: Take lots of small bills as you will be doing a lot of tipping. Pro Tip 2: You can have 5 gallon bottle of safe drinking water develivered to your room for $60 pesos ($3.15USD). The only negative is that Celeste is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the town, and there are no restaurants or stores within walking distance of the complex. (Remember, there are eating facilities on-site, and the office sells a small selection of snacks and toiletries.) That just means you need to be organized when you're in town if you want room snacks, booze, etc.

Reviewer Comments: We have been resorting in Huatulco for 15 years - this was our first non all inclusive stay.The property is outstanding - the access to the beach is easy and the residence was beautiful.We had a rough start to the vacation - our transport from the airport did not show - and our pantry was not stocked as requested. However that was quickly remedied by arranging our own taxi and heading into town for groceries the next morning.The unit dishwasher and BBQ were not working.Once we downloaded "WhatsApp" on our phone and started communicating with Gabby - things got cleared up right away.So I would recommend setting up the app ahead of time. Once Gabby knew there was an issue - it was dealt with right away.The actual unit is gorgeous - with all bedrooms having balcony access and private bathrooms. The unit is well stocked with dishes, cutlery etc. The food and drinks at the pool bar were reasonably priced and tasty. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent. Staff were very accommodating and arranged for taxis and any other things we needed. The unit was stocked with beach supplies - mask snorkel, boogie boards - which was very nice.The pool was well maintained and a great place to hide from the sun. The beach was beautiful and there were more than enough umbrellas and chairs for all of the guests. Drink service was also available on the beach.The location is central enough that you can easily walk to the plaza in front of Dreams - or a short taxi ride to La Bocana Beach or La Crucicita. We loved La Bocana Beach and the restaurants located on the beach. Lots to do to keep the family busy. Although we got off to a rough start - we really loved the residence and My Huatulco Vacation has a great range of properties to rent. We will use you again for our next rental.

I was so spoiled from the moment we arrived till the time we had left. When we arrived, Cathy from Explore Huatulco/My Huatulco Vacation had our transportation arranged, our groceries delivered, a welcoming note with Champaign and the staff brought us fresh cold juice. The condo was well stocked, never wanted for anything, including a washer and dryer. The unit is beautifully decorated with luxurious beds. The indoor, as well as outdoor, furniture are so comfortable, we took naps on both. The views amazing from both private balconies. The water is incredible. We snorkeled right off the beach. Saw beautiful fish and bright purple coral. The food is delicious. We ordered pool side, beach side, in the room and in both restaurants, the food was consistently amazing. The beach is secluded, practically exclusive to Celeste. It was NEVER crowded. There are beds and comfortable lounge chairs on the beach and they were always available. The staff was so amazing, it’s so small that you get to know them by name. We enjoyed Gabrielle’s smile and service. The condo is a little of a walk, not bad at all, but they had carts to help deliver luggage and groceries. There is also an elevator. Cleaning service came one every other day and did an amazing job. Cathy also came and met with us at the condo to make sure we were settled in and helped us book a fishing boat. We had the best day fishing with Captain Caesar on The Virginia. Captain Caesar was determined that we find and catch fish. We caught Dorado and a sailfish, it was amazing. Cathy knows who’s who in the area and can get you hooked up with all kinds of excursions and recommendations for restaurants. She is a gem. She even arranged our transportation back to the airport. When I visit Huatulco, I only use My Huatulco Vacations!!!! Ok – my only request for future visit would be a sand volleyball court. There is

Celeste condos are located in a quiet cove that is suitable for children and adults. The units are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds well maintained. The condo complex restaurant is really good. The property is a ways from town, so a guest needs a taxi or car to get into town. I would advise against renting a car. The rental costs are unreasonably high. Guests can more easily and cheaply get around by taxi and save themselves a great deal of money.
