We watched amazing thunderstorms break over the lake and the sun rise through the mist. The village location is quiet and authentic and very pretty . We felt very warmly welcomed by our hosts Davide and Laura. Everything was explained to us by Davide when we arrived and Laura was easily contacted and so helpful. "Nice place on Lake Maggiore. Easy steps to the lake. Enough parking for two cars up on the street and wonderful restaraunt a short walk away. Plenty of space for the four adults in our group."

" La Serra is a beautiful property, set in amazing gardens and with views to die for. It’s special to be so close to the lake and have a patio and garden to enjoy the views from. Nicola is a fantastic host and went out of his way to help with bookings and recommendations, even calling a restaurant to assist with a difficult booking. "Onze week bij Villa Sassi verliep perfect. Laurence was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De locatie, het huis en de tuin waren magnifiek en op ideale afstand van Como-centrum en omgeving. "Beautiful home with two gorgeous terraces. The shower is a bit tight but the main bathroom is overall very nice. Parking is a bit of a challenge but it’s not terrible you just need to orient yourself in the area because there is lots of parking a very short walk from the property. Angelo is an amazing host. Live like a local at this villa!"

"The layout of the house was excellent for 2 families with stunning views over the lake. Sitting on the balcony was peaceful and quiet with easy access from the garden straight onto the lake. It is also well equipped with everything you would need. We would like to return."
