"The no-smoking rooms smell extremely strongly of smoke. There is no escaping it. All the carpets in the public areas need replacing due to staining. The entire hotel needs a major refurb. "

"The neighborhood is in the process of being revitalized. It seemed to have abandoned buildings around Ciudad Vieja. Most of the developing areas were near the Mercado Puerto which is about 10minute from Circus Hotel. The location of the hotel was within walking distance of the Plaza Independencia. Sofía at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.. I opted for the private room accomodation. It was spacious and clean. The bed was two twin beds put together . Air conditioner worked very well....

"We had a great stay at the Don Boutique. The entire staff—from the front desk, to housekeeping, to the maintenance men—simply could not have been friendlier or more accommodating! The location is super convenient to the port for BuqueBus ferries, and the hotel overlooks the old Port Market. The room was spacious, if a bit dated. But it was still a very comfortable stay. "

"As I was trying to relax during the weekend, I was unpleasantly surprised by the amount of children, allowed by their parents, to run around and scream. A other negative part is that the outdoors were mosquito-infested which made it impossible to enjoy walks outside. Other than that, it was a beautiful property."
