The room was clean and functional and in line with the pictures shown. Small additional fee for generous breakfast and dinner. "I loved my stay at Casa Lala. The room was spotless clean, good quality bed linen and towels. Like everywhere in Cuba ( including 5 stars international brand hotels) there is no hair conditioner, bring your own. The owners are such a nice family, it was a pleasure to stay there. "A unique set of cottages amongst a friendly family. Close to the main part of town but far enough away that you can enjoy some solace. The rooftop was the best part. We hung out up there admiring the "mogotes" and view of the valley. They have a generator so even with power outages, you have lights! Breakfast is $5 and plentiful with eggs, fruit, ham, cheese, toast, juice and coffee. Americans bring your passports as I only had a copy and that created a little issue but all was well."

"Casa El Porry was an absolutely beautiful place to stay for my 4 days in Vinales. Betty and her lovely family could not have been more friendly and helpful. Location was perfect - just 5 minutes walk to all the cafes and restaurants on the Main Street with gorgeous views over the fields and Mojote hills beyond. She was very attentive and made sure breakfast was on time and was extremely organized about everything. She helped organize a horse riding package for me with a guide through the Valle de Vinales and gave me suggestions for places to eat etc when I asked for recommendations.
