ABOUT THE CONDO

The studio also offers a full bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower, and storage cupboards come stocked with towels and a pair of bathrobes.

THE LOCATION

Drive 5 minutes to restaurants, shops, and art galleries in downtown Santa Fe. Take a walking tour to explore historic streets and spot cultural attractions, including the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, and the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Then find a bench and relax in the sun at Santa Fe Plaza.

Santa Fe Railyard Park (a 12-minute walk) is worth a trip for its pretty gardens, outdoor performances, art festivals, farmers market, and selection of eateries.

For an outbound adventure, hop in the car and travel 16 minutes to hit the hiking trails around Santa Fe National Forest.

Cute Pet-Friendly Spot with Fenced-In Yard!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Casita Tesoro! Our dogs loved the yard and the neighbors were friendly, and the fireplace and nicely decorated rooms gave it a boutique and cozy feel! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Small but nice

Great neighborhood. Santa Fe historic feel. Well equipped. Nice kitchen and yard. Parking for midsize and smaller cars only. TV is pretty small internet (streaming on TV) is very slow.

My private island

It was my first time in New Mexico and wanted to stay in one of these casitas. Such a good decision. This space had everything I needed. A comfortable bed, good water pressure and a cozy fireplace. The space is centrally located and 5-10 mins away from great food and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend getaway, close to food and shopping centers

A good amount of space for a couple; all the amenities; extremely quiet neighborhood; comfortable bedding; kitchen stocked with cookware and utensils; and an amazing shower. Great location near historic downtown and Railyard. Communication was easy with Vacasa, excellent service. A great value for the off-season, would definitely recommend for a couple looking to get away for the weekend.

Wonderful Casita 15 minute Walk to Santa Fe Plaza

The casita is a great place to stay in Santa Fe. It was well-equipped with kitchen items and the shared washer and dryer was free. We could walk everywhere. The only thing we would change is the front door lock. We often had to try 2-3 times to get it right. We were never locked out, but it shouldn’t be that hard.

Overall nice stay

Nice apartment. As advertised. Only complaint was that the front door electronic lock was broken upon arrival. Ended up using the side entrance and had to carry a key, instead of the front door. A neighbor mentioned that the previous occupants also had problems with it. We called the management company on the day of arrival, but it wasn't fixed during the 4 days we were there.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Casita is very well appointed and immaculately clean. The kitchen is equipped with top of the line appliances. We were disappointed in a three things: the futon is extremely hard and uncomfortable as a bed, it is farther to the plaza than we expected (20 minute walk), and the side yard is not really private and there is no outside seating. For these reasons we would not book here again and feel that for the money ($515 for two nights) we can get equal accommodations closer to the plaza.

Problematic

Poor communication overall leading to faulty "repairs"while we were there. Repair staff left dirty towels and replaced batteries in tv remote instead of thermostat. Gas heater not working and electric heaters took hours to bring casita to a bearable temperature. No response to request to clean bathroom after plumber left, so we had to do it. If everything worked it would be a great place to stay, but this stay really showed poor management and communication.

Not what it seems

The pictures online are not an accurate description of what you actually see and get at the Property. In the description, it says to look out for a red door the door is not red. It’s green. Also the picture of the common area does not have the same furniture that is actually in the property. There is no chair in the corner with cute pillows, the table and chair in front of the window, including the lamp are not what is there. When we arrived, we arrived in the evening we decided to rest and maybe catch a little TV before we got busy doing our things the next day only to find out that the TV cable did not work. I contacted the host to see if there was something I was doing wrong no reply I had to contact the host three times before I received a reply, asking me to check the wires and the batteries to the cable. The wires that were stuffed behind a stool were all tangled. You could not tell where The wires went. We purchased our own batteries for the remote. We were gone most of the day, so the TV was not a priority. It was only when we were in for the evening that we wanted to maybe Watch a movie on TV that we had to watch it from our phones. Once we had made the decision to check out early that’s when we received notification that someone was coming over to check on the Cable. The host should also spray for bugs and spiders. We checked out early and went somewhere else for the remainder of our trip

We were disappointed that the "private side yard" was not fully enclosed (We had our dog) and really disappointed that it was just weeds and rocks with no place to sit. We took a step ladder and a little metal chair from inside and used the AC unit for a table for our drinks. Not what I pictured. Also we had a problem with the toaster our first morning there and reported it to management. A rep came and took the toaster and said they would get us another. We also asked that the toilet, which ran constantly, be repaired. Neither of these were done.

Great location and space, poor communication and comfort.

The casita itself was very charming and in an amazing neighborhood! It felt very safe and was walking distance from many Santa Fe attractions and restaurants. The check in process was terrible. The code for the door lock didn’t work, and management didn’t answer my several calls and texts for over 45 minutes. We had to leave and go to Whole Foods just to use the restroom after the long road trip because of the poor response time 😬. We ended up taking a house key with us for the weekend because the code never started working. Also, the pillows provided in the casita were terrible. I would recommend bringing your own if you can. I almost went and bought some it was so rough. Not a comfy movie watching set up, or sleeping arrangement. If you and a friend are looking for a long weekend and you’re road tripping, I would still recommend this spot. Just bring your pillows and be flexible at check in time.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and proximity of this unit to downtown and sites is simply AMAZING! Please know there is only ONE bed in this unit. A Murphy bed. The bed is comfortable, but the description mentioned two beds and two guests.If you are in need of a full kitchen, this unit is well stocked. My family prefers to cook-in rather than eat out. We were able to easily cook our meals in this unit just Iike we do at home. The front door does open into the main living area, so this could be an issue with dirt for a longer stay. I like a compact space, so it was not a problem for me. I would recommend this unit because of its fully stocked kitchen and location, but Turnkey is a large company that does not give much action if something is wrong. Renter beware.

Not A Good Experience

From first impression of property to the failed attempt entry the tone was set (all documented dialog with VACASA whom took over property from “TurnKey”. 1. Photos do not properly represent the unit 2. It should be offered to a single person using it as a base camp for skiing or hiking 3. It should not be considered for a couple using t for extended stay (2 to 4 weeks) 4. Stated enclosed backyard is crushed/fragment rock. Not appropriate for the small dog (approved) 5. The ‘local manager’ never acted upon the entry pt Robles/securing the unit request I notified VACASA of our intention/action to relocate to a different property in order for us to complete our planned month with security, comfort and hospitality. Terrible experience!

Casa Testoro

The property is in a great location...5-10 minute driving location from everything you might want to see or do in Santa Fe. The kitchen was very well equipped. The unit has 3 heat sources. One of the heating units did not work. We called maintenance but no one came to fix it. We were there for 8 days. Thankfully the gas stove did work and was just enough so that we didn't freeze to death.
