"The hotel is located 50 minutes from Medellin and you can get there and back with a taxi, each trip is about 50,000 pesos. They don´t accept credit cards and the hotel cannot be pre-paid through Expedia. I was offered 2 options: pay with a Colombian debit card or with cash, pesos or USD. It was only pure luck that I had enough with cash otherwise they would not have allowed me to check in. Obviously I was very dissapointed with how I was treated. The hotel staff otherwise was fine. "Staff were very helpful. Always going above and beyond. Room was amazing never had not one issue. A little confused as to how to receive my paid breakfast. I kind of just winged it. All though that might have been my own issue of working up the courage to ask. No complaints at all. Definitely recommend staying here. I didnt realize i came during the high season which is why prices were a bit high for the rooms. I am definitely coming back"
