"Two couples stayed 6 nights. On days we had to get out early we were able to make breakfast at home. Many evenings we ended on the large patio with the ocean breeze. You can literally watch the sunrise from bed. VERY secure which my husband appreciated. Next door to a local bar, but late night karaoke on Sunday and a birthday party later in the week is the only time it was noticeable. "

"The house is the perfect size for a small family. 2 Queen beds and the kitchen has all the amenities you could want. It’s right by the grocery store, beach, and Placencia Beach club. If you’re looking for a place to hang out with food, swim up bar, beach and pool the Placencia beach club is only 2 blocks away. Also 10 minutes to town with multiple restaurants along the way. I highly recommend."

The area is safe and quiet; it was close enough to Placencia (town) without being too crowded. We were able to make a few day trips to interesting sites, so the location was excellent. "Great house- right on the beach (but you need to wear bug repellent!) and the house is amazing- better then the pictures. Only the rooms have ac but that’s fine as the breeze keeps things cool (in December). Caretakers are super nice and very helpful. Takes up to half hour to get to the main town of Placencia - plenty of grocery stores and restaurants to choose from. Did a deep sea fishing trip, atv trip in the jungle, and a snorkel trip as well- all from placencia or within 20 mins. Only note...

"Shelley and Lesta are fabulous and work diligently to meet all needs. Very well stocked property. Beautiful bedrooms for all occupants. Walkable to multiple restaurants. With bad weather, pool heater not working was a disappointment.
