So bad we stayed somewhere else!!
it was so dirty and run down we ended up staying at another hotel. My 8 year old found an opened muffin under the TV Stand, there were chips under the night stand. Gross!!

This hotel is closing at the end of the month!
This hotel is closing at the end of the month! Marriott bought out the property and adjacent properties and is building a new hotel. Supplies (refrigerators) are being moved around to other hotels (eg Watsonville) or rooms within the complex. Alarm clocks are missing. The manager was quite nice and helpful. We just stayed for one night and would have made the same choice again.

My room smell bad. And the breakfast was in the office which is not that big they only had coffee, cereal, and a waffle maker.

We had the smallest pillows I have ever seen. The TV was not able to turn off. The lighting was dim. The room had a poor smell.

Boardwalk weekend
The staff was very helpful but the hotel needs to be upgraded the toilet plugged so many times I was given a plunger to keep in my bathroom. The breakfast was ok but the lobby was very cramped and you had to wait for other guests before you could fit in to get yours. The best thing was the boardwalk is just 4 blocks away . The room AC good and the tv was nice ... We stayed 2 nights but our room did not get maid service? I would stay again if they Cleaned up a little and made some upgrades :)

Close to the boardwalk
Property is old. TV and cable box didn't work. Floor was coming up by the tub. Toilet clogged 4 times in 2 days

Great location, clean room.
Came to town for Chowder Festival at the Boardwalk. Location was perfectly walkable. Room was small but clean. If all you want is a clean place to sleep close to the Boardwalk, then this place will work for you. No luxuries to speak of....even the "free toiletries" were half empty which, to me, translates to "used". But it was ok.

Best of the Worst
The room was clean enough and appeared to have been updated in the last 40 years, or so (recent, for that part of town). The location is what we wanted, in this case, and the people were nice (but noticeably aware that they are operating in a sketchy neighborhood). Expensive, but the best deal available in that part of town.

Screaming deal
We could hear the srceams from the Boardwalk thrill rides; Motel was just a short walk which was the purpose of our stay. Don't put money in the soda machine. Mr. Patel at the front desk can help you if you need bottled water. Wifi was weak, but we were on the top floor at the end, as far away from the wifi hub as we could be and still be a guest at the motel. Worth the cost but don't expect much it is an old motel. Our room was clean and satisfactory. Would probably stay there again.

Walking distance to the boardwalk
Your basic room. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and comfortable enough. In room fridge, coffee and hair dryer. Didn't spend any time at the pool but it looked okay, small with a small deck area. Loved the short walk to the Boardwalk and beach.

If you don't have high exceptions this is your place. My fire alarm was alerting that it needed a new battery. The owner gave me two options 1) Replace the battery myself or 2) disconnect the hard wiring myself - I guess that's service. Don't expect a reasonable continental breakfast either it was like froot loops and waffles and coffee was nasty with powder cream.

Nice and close to beach
The beds were on the hard side. The staff was awesome, I was running late for a cheer competition and the employee let me pay to just keep my car there for the day. Very nice people.

Bugs in the bathroom
I was not impressed with this hotel. The carpet was very old and dirty, the beds covers looked to be from the 80's and we had bugs in the bathroom sink and on the shower towels. I figured for the price it would be clean. Never again!!
