"Cool little spot firther from any amenities than I anticipated. Las Islitas was a 10min drive and very cool place to hang out. The beach at Kavala was pretty good, a bit less swimmable/beach vibe than expected but great for walking up and down at sunset. Overall nice stay, just a bit of a small isolated vibe. Enjoyed the pool too, though its quite small."

"The property did not respond to emails or phone calls. No code to get in was ever sent Phone calls from me or the neighbor lady were not answered . We never got into the property and had to find alternative accommodations for the night..The address is wrong and 121 takes you to a run down building so you must be a bit of a detective to even find the correct building Would it be hard to put your house numbet on your building? The neighborhood is more run down then i would have thought. I cant say...

" The place was spotless for sure. Check in was easy. Only major points of dissatisfaction were there was zero ventilation - windows wouldn't open and only fans in bedrooms, so the air was 'heavy' and stuffy. It was actually cooler and more comfortable outside than inside. There was only a bath towel for drying after shower and a dish cloth. The bath towel was like sand paper. I used the dish cloth as a wash cloth in the shower. And the only waste basket was in the bathroom, only 'paper' was...

"My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay in Chacala. We loved the casita and our private rooftop terrace. We were spoiled as we had beautiful views of the ocean and breathtaking sunsets every day! The beachfront property is in excellent condition with private beach access for guests, with palapas for shade. We were in close proximity to all restaurants with a few small markets nearby. "It was very comfortable and perfectly clean. We were 2 couples so two bathrooms was appreciated. The decor is warm and tasteful. Excellent value for your money. There is no stove to cook but there is a microwave. There is a train nearby which makes alot of noise at night but if you keep the windows closed and the air conditioner on for the white noise you can still get a good night's sleep."
