"The staff were delightful. The breakfast was fresh, appetising and varied. There was a very relaxed atmosphere generally. We particularly liked the grounds and the views of the mountains. You could walk to the nearby town of Tavira(2km) but it wasn't a pleasant walk so we took the car - this was the only downside for us as we like walking"

There are however a number of negatives with this property; when we booked the property the pool was advertised as heated, it is not. There are air conditioning units in the sitting room and one in the master bedroom, neither of which work, we understand they have been "disabled". "This property is at the end of an unmade road which means you will see almost no-one during your stay so it's very private. It's an easy 30 minute drive from Faro. Rui, the host, is very helpful and easy to talk to. Accommodation was clean and comfortable and we wanted for nothing."

"Perfect villa for a family holiday. In a quiet area but not too far from Vilamoura. Fantastic authentic farmhouse with plenty of space and gorgeous entertainment areas especially the swimmong pool. Would highly recommend for a large family holoday. Jenny was a great host who was always available if you had any questions. "

"Our group was 2 couples ( in our 60s) staying for a week. The Villa was perfect as both bedrooms had en suites along with decent sized living areas to relax. We enjoyed the fresh oranges from the groves that are part of the property. It is a very quiet and relaxing environment. We did not walk into the town as it is a long walk - a car is necessary .
