For example, explore the so-called wine route: at different stations you learn interesting facts about the vineyard in Gran Canaria and you can taste the local wine, the Vino del Monte, in different bodegas. The Bandama Nature Park is also worth a visit. From the Pico de Bandama viewplatform you have a great view of the Caldera de Bandama and the impressive mountains of the island. Entertainment, restaurants and various shops can be found in the neighboring city of Santa Brígida. The mild climate all year round and the beautiful mountain landscape makes Gran Canaria a popular climbing area - for both beginners and advanced. The routes around the Roque Nublo are especially popular. You can climb the island's landmark with twelve different climbing options with different levels of difficulty.
