Beautiful and tranquil stay
Perfect place to have access to trails. Transport is essential and suggest a small car as the roads are very narrow and lots of bends. We loved the villa and it’s very well equipped with a great wee pool for your aching legs after trail walking.

Fantastic House
We absolutely loved this house. The pool and garden are amazing and the outdoor space overall is just lovely. It´s in a quiet and beautiful area. The pool is deep and cold and we loved it. The house is very well equipped, we weren´t short of anything. The burner in the kitchen/living room makes the room very cosy when it´s a chilly evening. Would definitely recommend this house and would love to visit again in the future.

A very special place
The villa was perfect for me and my sister as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom; separate but easy. It's very private and not overlooked which is also important. Beds are supremely comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped with high end dishwasher/washing machine et al. Important to come equipped with food as a lot of restaurants were closed when we arrived, even in the early evening. A car is essential.

Nice things to know
I usually don’t write reviews but this time I’ll make an exception. There’s a lot of good things to say about this little house (see the other reviews) but there’s also some things that’s useful to know for future guests: The text mentions and the pictures (19-24) show the so called pool house with a double bed. If you book the house for 2 people, you will not get access to this separate building. It comes with an extra cost. Nice to know, if you are not a couple or for other reasons want to sleep separately. Even with the entire hood of the car ON the road, you can’t see anything from inside the car when you exit the property. It’s mandatory to have a person on the road helping you to exit down the steep road. Not for the faint hearted! The pool was (as other reviewers mention) very cold. We visited in the end of January and hoped for a little dip … but no. It was dirty and it looked like a chlorine lock was happening in the water: milky/hazy water. The pellet oven needs some attention and planning during your stay and still it will not heat the house evenly through the rooms. It is hard to reach the exact temperature you wish for as the thermostat is somehow living it’s own life.

Sehr schönes Haus in toller Lage
Wir hatten im November einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Vor allem das abendliche Dart-Spielen auf der schönen Terrasse hat Spaß gemacht. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, inkl. Netflix-Zugang. Der Kontakt war sehr gut und schnell und verlässlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Fantastisch verblijf
Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van de fijne case met mooie tuin en het fantastische zwembad. Let op wel de afstapjes bij de binnen en buitendeuren. De casa is voorzien van uitgebreide voorzieningen en benodigdheden. Het terras met buitenverlichting is voorzien van een eettafel met kuipstoelen, grootte parasol, ligbedden en gemakkelijke zitstoelen. Een leuke overdekte bar met verlichting en barkrukken. Wij zijn tijdens ons verblijf van 12 dagen veel op deze schitterende locatie gebleven. Kortom een echte aanrader.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus
Wir waren im Juli für fünf Tage in der Casa Gecko. Alles war perfekt, für drei Personen hatten wir gut Platz mit dem Poolhaus für unsere Tochter. Das Haus ist super sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, genau wie auf den Fotos. Der Check-In mit Schlüsselsafe klappt reibungslos. Trotz der Straße unter dem Haus ist es nachts ruhig. Der Pool ist wirklich groß und gut zum Schwimmen, das Grundstück schön angelegt. Im Ort kann man leicht einkaufen, ca. 10 Minuten Fahrt. Restaurants waren eher schwieriger zu finden, dafür ist man aber abseits von allem Touristenrummel. Wanderungen gibt es im Umkreis etliche schöne, in herrlicher Natur. Alles in allem können wir das Haus wirklich empfehlen!

Endspannung und Ruhe
Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist schön eingerichtet. Der Pool ist echt riesig und man kann richtig gut darin schwimmen. In der Küche ist alles reichlich vorhanden was man benötigt. Ein und auschecken ist auch sehr einfach. Von der Straße kommt nicht sehr viel Lärm an. Den Spiegel an der ausfahrt könnte man einmal erneuern ( hat aber nichts mit dem Anwesen tun) Wir würden es wieder mieten.

Lovely peaceful secluded villa.
Really enjoyed our weeks stay. The villa has a rustic feel, but also very modern facilities. The pool is large enough to actually swim, though it was cold when first entering. We spent probably all the time on the sunlounges around the pool or sat in the covered outdoor area. Though we didn't use them, there are a number of heaters in the various areas as I guess being in the mountains it could get cold outside of the summer months. If you have good footwear, you can walk into Santa Brigida in around 20-25 minutes, but the climb to / from, the town is on a steep rocky path so not ideal for carrying shopping so a car is probably essential and not too large a car as the drive is a bit narrow and there is not a great deal of turning space inside the villa grounds. The directions provided were easy to follow and the drive was probably only around 25 minutes from the airport. I'm guessing their must be a micro-climate on Gran Canaria as the skies around the villa always had clouds, but when we ventured to Puerto Rico / Mogan (less than 1 hours drive) in the south of the Island it was cloudless.

Dieser Ort ist wirklich eine Oase und perfekt ausgestattet. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen und es ist dort noch schöner als auf den Bildern ; ) Perfekt für Alle, die fernab und individuell vom Hotelirrsinn diese schöne Insel nachhaltig erkunden und erleben möchten.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in der Casa Gecko in sehr guter Lage
Dieses wunderschöne Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist perfekt und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir haben den Pellet-Ofen [an den meist kühlen Tagen) sowohl auch den großen Pool im herrlichen Garten nutzen können. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist perfekt für Wanderungen direkt von der Casa aus. Es gibt gute Busverbindungen nach Las Palmas und San Mateo. Nach Santa Brigida kann man zu Fuß in 15 Min. durch den Barranco laufen. Dennoch ist ein Auto sinnvoll, wenn man im Zentrum wandern möchte. Wir können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Perfekte Finks Gecko
Es hat an nichts gefehlt, der Blick auf den Pool ist traumhaft. Der Abend an der Außentheke mit Dartscheibe und einem Bier oder Wein sind der krönende Abschluss eines schönen Tages. Ausflüge in die Bergwelt oder nach Las Palmas sind mit dem Bus möglich. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Eins der schönsten Häuser, in dem wir bisher wohnen durften. Der Pool ist definitiv der größte, den wir je bei einem Ferienhaus hatten, da kommt man richtig zum Schwimmen! Günstige Lage, um die Insel (besonders den Norden) zu erkunden. Wegen der guten Busverbindungen kann man den Mietwagen auch gerne mal stehen lassen und mit dem Bus völlig stressfrei nach Las Palmas fahren. Oder man nimmt den Bus nach San Mateo und wandert durch einen grünen Barranco zurück; die Strecke führt direkt wieder zur Casa Gecko. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war angenehm und völlig unkompliziert. Würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen!

Maison au calme
Maison très bien aménagée, très calme. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les aménagements extérieurs avec piscine et bar couvert. Le wifi est performant et permet l'utilisation de la TV connectée. La cuisine est très bien lotie avec tout ce que l'on peut imaginer pour cuisiner.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Casa Gecko einfach nur genossen. Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der gepflegte Garten mit dem tollen Pool, in dem man tatsächlich auch schwimmen und nicht nur "planschen" kann rundet das ganze ab. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

Super Unterkunft
Tolle Tage in einem herrlichen Haus. Alles war perfekt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wer Ruhe sucht ist dort richtig. Ohne Mietwagen geht allerdings nichts. Man ist in 20 Minuten in Las Palmas oder im Shopping Center Las Terrazas, in 30 Minuten am flughafen und in 45 in Maspalomas. Die ALge ist perfekt in den Bergen. Es ist angenehm kühl in den Bergen, wer Sonne pur braucht sollte an die Küste.

Wir waren sehr, sehr zufrieden
Anfahrt zur Casa war super erklärt. Die Casa wunderschön, es hat von Anfang alles gepasst. Sogar den Pool konnten wir benutzen, da wir an den bestimmten Tagen als wir ihn benutzten, an die 30 Grad hatten. Wir hatten 3 Wochen Sonnenschein. Auch die Insel zu erkunden hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Wir können mit voller Überzeugung die Casa nur weiterempfehlen. Auch das Vogelgezwitscher war sehr beruhigend. Es hat Spaß gemacht ihnen zu zuhören. Die Kommunikation war im Vorfeld und während des Aufenthaltes sehr, sehr gut. Wir bedanken uns für ALLES!!!!! Liebe Grüße Gerhard & Petra aus dem Allgäu
