Being my first time staying at El Decameron I do wish I knew their rules before driving there. The check in started at 2:30 p.m. Meanwhile we get there early trying to get the most of it since we were only spending one night. The whole checking process does take time to once you enter the resort. Once we settled in we got to take a walk around and enjoy their drinks and pool. Staff are very friendly and food was really good as well. I would definitely go back again.

I booked this stay because it was all inclusive and for the price, I would have hoped that the resort would be really nice. It was outdated, needs renovations. If they know how many people stay in a room why can’t they provide enough towels to begin with? I asked one of the housekeepers that was cleaning a room next door for towels from her cart, she said I needed to call from my room to ask front desk for towels. Well guess what, the phone in the room wasn’t working. Someone had to come fix it. That first night, it rained hard. We woke up in the morning, my son got up to use the bathroom and he slipped and fell because the floor was wet. The ceiling had been dripping from the rain. We let them know. Somehow, they fixed it because it didn’t drip the following night. Our first day, there was a guy trying to talk us into going to an informational meeting for us to become members, but I was really not interested. The staff was great but I hope that they will renovate their rooms and buildings because for the price they charge, it’s really outdated.

My husband and I were a little nervous about visiting El Salvador but we were quickly relieved. The hotel not only has excellent customer service but they also have great security and safeguards in place. The resort was ABSOLUTE paradise. The food was great the facilities were all clean. The attention to detail and cleanliness is impeccable. The ambiance was beautiful and family friendly. My only advice is take lots of change for tips. They don’t expect you to tip Them but their customer service is so good that you will want to. Also pack bug spray.

I don’t like the service on some of the stuff and we have issues with the a/c and we get wet because on Thursdays night rain and the roofs start leaking and two beds get wet, I call to request a transfer to other room the room we received was duty one bed don’t have blankets no pillows no towels no shampoo no soap

I when there with my wife and my sister in law to have some fun and relax for a couple days. Whenever we got to the room no towels I call to the front desk and ask for them. the girl who answer me had a bad attituded. next headache it was when my wife and my sister decide to go to the sea pool. they ended up with a whole bunch of cuts and scratches. lifeguard and the security person took they sweet time to try stop the bleeding of my wife's right foot. took her to first aid room, ask a couple workers they didn't know where the place was. bad experience. every body who work around should know the locations. anybody who visit that resort be aware of the sharp rocks around the sea pool. it should be mention the time you get there
