"The hotel in general was nice. However there were 10-15 kids hanging out in the lobby and front door. Seemed like a school was being held there. It was very unusual. Also, parking was impossible. None existed. If it wasn’t for the kindness of a local gentleman I do not know what we would have done. If you are not driving that’s a different story. Restaurants in the area were awesome especially II Meggesse. "

"We were very pleased with the hotel. Rooms are spacious and private - each room has a private entrance in a "condo/townhome" type of setting. Our room was large with a balcony and french doors in the bedroom and bathroom. Nespresso machine with coffee pods in the room too. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the service impeccable. The hotel also has top notch restaurant if you don't feel like driving to town one night."

But after staying here I’m wondering why everyone didn’t give perfect reviews. “Wow!” This property is beautiful! The location, property, rooms, and service were all outstanding. "We stayed in Stephanie's house for 14 nights. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed. Great outdoor areas with a lovely large balcony with fantastic views and a rear garden with a gas BBQ and lovely peaceful dining area. Ofena is a typical, unspoilt Italian village with friendly locals and a super friendly village dog. We immediately felt relaxed, despite probably being the only tourists there. The house is very old and full of character but with modern kitchen and bathrooms...
