"We really enjoyed our stay in La Rectoria, The house's very thick walls and spaciousness enabled us to relly enjoy our time there. The gardens are beautiful and the pool was a big plus. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is that it has only 2 bathrooms even though it sleeps 24 persons so it would be helpful to have a separate toilet and sink on the lower floor. "We had the most perfect stay in a lovely location. Superbly equipped house and additional annex. Lovely pool. Amazing views and local amenities in striking distance; a couple of us even walked up Pic du Canigou. But top prize goes to hosts Chris and Vicky (and their sons). Attentive to just the right degree. "Hotel has great facilities, but it has poor cleanness. we found, at least, 30 bugs inside our apartment. We had to remove the bugs several times as they coming out from somewhere we could not find. In addition, closest and other places in the rooms where not clean and smelly. We report the issues at check out as we checked in late afternoon, were going to stay for one night, and did not want to have other people coming into our apartment to clean."
