"We were in Barcelona for 2 nights and originally chose this hotel for its location. Two of us were unexpectedly sick when we arrived in Barcelona off a cruise ship. A pharmacy was next door which was handy, as well as a market where our adult son shopped at daily to feed us back at the hotel. The staff was very polite and accommodating and when we could finally start home (and see a doctor) the front desk called a cab for us which only took 7 minutes to arrive to pick us up."

"Very well run, clean and modern Holiday Inn hotel. Reception staff went the extra mile to help, after we were redirected to Barcelona after Valencia flooding, and were exceptionally helpful. Location is not great ... well outside the city center, in an industrial region. So if you need to commute to see the sights of Barcelona, expect a lot of taxi bills! (Around E50 a pop). Apart from that, very nice place to stay ... recommended. "

"I never write reviews unless I’m absolutely blown away or absolutely disappointed. The Social Hub Barcelona Poblenou was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. That includes high end names like the 4 seasons, The Ritz, etc. The staff was available literally 24/7, free laundry washing/drying on premises, 24/7 “mini market” on premises. I can’t say enough how absolutely pleased I was with this establishment. THIS is the standard for how a stay should be at any hotel. I will most definitely be recommending this hotel to my family and colleagues. "
