"Las Mariposas was an idyllic getaway from the stresses of day to day life. Sofia was an amazing host who looked after us from the start to finish....rooms were big, more like a 2 room apartment with a delicious breakfast in the morning (EUR15). "This villa is NOT in San Antonio as advertised. Be prepared to travel at least 40 minutes to get there. It is in the middle of nowhere with no local shops or bars - you need a car. The host had no idea on the check in or payment procedure and was very rude. They don’t speak english and it was impossible to arrange late checkin / out as they kept hanging up on english numbers prior to getting there. You need to speak spanish or italian. The place smells, the bathrooms are appalling - rusty shower...

"The hotel had lovely interior design, very rustic look the pool area was nice, found it a bit small to be honest. The rooms were okay not up to mark as they don't maintain much, my bathroom sink was clogged, the shower are has a bad design as all the water keeps splashing out and wets the entire floor. The rooms are not sound proof so you can hear a lot of nose from outside. Breakfast was very good we enjoyed the breakfast a lot."

"Pleasant apartment. Good value for the money. Bedding was clean and housekeeper came in each day. Some towels a litrle stained and the building has some wear and tear but on the whole, good place to stay and the pool was nice. Staff are also very helpful!"
