"Great location near JR station and the drinking alleys. For a budget hotel it was nice. Clean, modern , comfortable bed and room, WiFi was 25 Mb/s. Fantastic rooftop onsen with indoor and outdoor baths with a view of the city. Massage chairs and quite a few complimentary snacks. "

"An older onsen property. But it does have two onsen pools that you can “charter” for your private use. There isn’t anything around the property, so you have to book your breaky and dinner with the hotel. The food was good though. "

"First time staying in this style hotel. Right on the edge of a great downtown area. No frills, but comfortable rooms. Unanticipated extras like evening drinks and face masks. The bathroom enclosure was the thing that threw me. Incredibly efficient, but a bit cramped and odd to a Westerner."

"The hotel is huge but empty. The other hotels in the lake are all shut down. Our hotel was the only place to eat. At the small place open for dinner there was only ONE lady trying to do everything all by herself!!! We had to wait a long time to be served. She took orders, cooked & served the customers & didn’t have time to bus the tables. The breakfast was included with our room & it was okay. The waterfall was impressive. The onsen is huge but empty. I was the only one in there."

"Great facilities, but disappointed about the extra charge to use the pool. Also there was drilling noise from a next-door room. Still, the reception desk staff was friendly, and the view is superb."
