"Great second stay this year in this hotel. Overall it is very good but if you like your cooked breakfast, be warned that it’s almost cold every day. We did tell the staff but nothing changed. We hoped when we returned that things may have changed after the busy new year period but the breakfast is still the same. I’m not sure on other meals as we were b&b only. "

"I didn't like the fact that reception told us we had an hour to get to Dinner because they close at 2200, but when we arrived, it was 2130, and so what was supposed to be a nice dinner turned into a nightmare."

"Check in took forever ,If you go, take a print out they could not do it with the app ,2 days it took grrr.If you want a drink at the bar be prepared to be thirsty I have never seen such slow service between 10 to 15 min wait wether there are 2 people in front or 10.Food was ok entertainment rubbish,Wine on all inclusive terrible put it on your frozen chips.The pool is wonderful"

"From the moment we arrived we could find no fault with anything. The staff were friendly and helpful . The accommodation was spotless and well situated for exploring the town . Breakfast was good with ample choices . Would like to return again at a future date . "

"Es la segunda vez que estuve en el hotel con mi pareja. La verdad que esta muy bien y el personal es super agradable la cual intentan solucionar cualquier duda que tienes. Estuvimos en la zona de SPA y nos salimos renovados de alli. Super bien. Maria y Margarida las recepcionistas son muy agradable y amable.en general todos en el hotel .Gracias por todo . "The perdon who checked me in was not particularly helpful, however the person who chrcked me out was rude! I asked for a taxi to the bus station, she hesitated, then called one taxi who said he was busy, she did not adk for how long. She hung up and then tried to convince me the bus did not go where I wanted to go. I knew better, butshe thought I was wrong and eventually just walked away from me. "We. booked their sister hotel but when we got there, the hotel was closed. We finally got into the hotel that was closed and the operational staff said that that they moved us to another hotel. Although, they never sent us a text or email on this move. When we finally found the new hotel, they gave us a room that faced a busy road. We asked to change the room, however we had to pay an additional cost. Not my favourite hotel. "

"Great location and facilities. It was my birthday and I appreciated the bottle of bubbly in my room. The cleaning staff were were very friendly. The indoor pool was lovely. The only problem was that we booked the hotel because it had a spa but the hotel did not inform us beforehand that it was closed during the two days that we were there. That was very disappointing. "I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was our first stay at a Pousada and it will definitely not be our last. We were given an upgrade to a suite on arrival which made our stay even better. The staff are all very friendly and efficient - first class level of service. "

"A great all inclusive hotel with plenty of activities. This resort is especially great for golfers as you have 2 great courses at your doorstep. There is only the buffet option for food, however the food was great and they even had a street food dinner on Wednesday which was a very pleasant surprise."

The resort is under construction even though you would not really notice it. They have done a fabulous and mindful job in protected guests from this. "Very satisfied with our stay in the apartments. Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which had all the facilities we needed. Very friendly staff that answered any questions politely and helpfully. Food was good with plenty of choice although the buffet style could mean it was, on occasion, not hot enough. Good choice of pools and bars."

"Nothing had been organised for our stay. Very unprofessional manager,Really bad damp and musty smell.Beds were wet, windows leaked during night. No coffee machine working, no wine glasses. Lamps in bedrooms crackled, fire hazard... the list goes on.. there is no entertaining space other than kitchen for 8 ppl thats crazy.."

Four nights in Monte Gordo.

"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural harbour so the fishing boats are launched by tractor pushing them into the sea. Many eateries, cafes etc in the town. The bed we had was very comfy and the shower was so lovely , with power and heat. Also had a fridge in the room. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Cheers 😁😁"

"Excellent hotel, friendly and helpful staff, clean premises and well equipped, good sized rooms. 2 swimming pools, a gym, good food options and plenty of free car parking add to the positives. A good hotel all round with lovely beaches nearby and the national park to walk in. Highly recommended. "
