"We chanced upon this unique property and was wonderfully surprised one Autumn night! Attergauhof is located just north of Highway A1, a convenient resting point for long drives between Vienna and St. Wolfgang/Salzburg/Konigssee. The hotel has unique decors and is much bigger than I expected, and certainly brings out a sense of nostalgia. It feels like a well-to-do family's mansion in the 19th century. "Well equipped apartment on the top floor of a hotel, where the staff had differing views to the owner as to the facilities that were available as a non-guest. Lounge area was compact, shower was over the bath with restricted shower-head adjustment. Comfortable bed, we appreciated the air-con in the bedroom. Ideally located in the centre of Mondsee and within earshot of the Basilica’s bells! Good value for money when compared to the equivalent hotel room."

"An excellent Villa, very clean and well looked after. The swimming pool was great, it has a deep part in the middle and is very shallow at one end which would suit paddling toddlers. We are a family of 7 and had loads of space in the Villa. The top floor bedroom can get very hot which wasn't a problem for us as only one of my children was sleeping in there.
