It's Sanibel. One of the best places on earth. This was our first time with Beachview and it was very pleasant. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The cottages are quaint and the area has a peace and quietness about it. It was a great stay. Kudos to the Christmas decorations as well.
Nice place to get away to. Far enough for a quiet atmosphere, yet close enough to the island’s dining and shopping. The room was large with kitchen, dining area.
Location was great, room was clean and comfortable and really enjoyed having meals on the screened in porch! Nice sandy palm lined walkway directly to the beach. Found a lot of great shells.

For the cost, it’s a great getaway on the beach. You get a nice clean place with the beach within a two minute walk. The staff was friendly and responsive. We would go there again.
If you want a quiet stay in a rustic cottage this is it. Please bring a mattress topper and pillows if you can. The amenities run short but the beach runs long. Staff is great.
The service was good. We were checked in a few minutes early and staff was friendly. I do believe that overall the place could use some touch ups here and there. One group of rooms appears to be in the process of being overhauled. The screens could use touch ups and reinforcement as they are loose and or are ripped. The electrical we found odd. It appears that some switches run in reverse. The room didn't go below 70 degrees but it was still cool. The couch was covered in an old sheet which was disappointing. One of the drawers in the kitchen is falling off (where the utensils are.) The view not great but the location to the beach was excellent. Again, a nice please but definitely could use a little TLC here and there. Not sure I would go back to this location but definitely am a regular to Sanibel/Captiva.

Not fancy but quant and charm!
We love the charm of the place! Every cottage is basically on the beach (or a 2 minute walk) it's very close to all the main restaurants or cook in the little kitchen! No complaints about the place itself. We had to move becuse their system is so old it didn't know we were booked until the next day and others had booked directly on their website so they were over booked and had to move us around to accommodate the others that had booked that were fleeing Hurricane Mathew. That was annoying. But I want to say it was overall what we expected and enjoyed it!
Vintage quiet little "motel", primarily consisting of a couple of rows of cabins leading down to a great beach. The pleasant staff was very accommodating. This was our first stay, but definitely would consider a return visit.
Everything was nice but then beach could have been better. The beach had so many broken shells and seaweed everywhere you had to watch were you step or layout. But the place is beautiful and cleaned.
Cool "old style" looking cottages, updated and modernized. We stayed in cottage #6. Nice screened in porch. Short walk to the beach or the pool. Low population the week we there, so not crowded. We didn't have anybody on either side of us. They were redoing 1 cabin while we were there, so there was a little construction going on. Not a problem. Keep goin!!

Sanibel
We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that had been remodeled recently. The window AC was noisy off and on throughout the night. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had new appliances although rust had already begun to set inside the microwave. The property is an older complex of recently painted cottages with adjoining walls that is fun in a retro kind of way. You are steps away from the Gulf. The rates charged are very close to those of full service hotels nearby like a Holiday Inn that we were also considering, so I would say the room was overpriced for the experience of our stay and should be rated a two star property.
