Miles Of White Sand Beach at 3MC , Seclusion And All The Comforts You Could Want

Three mary cays is the only house on a two mile white sand beach offering total privacy and seclusion. Though an informal beach house it has every comfort you will need. Each bedroom and the living room are separate buildings connected by an elliptical board walk. There is a 40ft wide open plan living room, kitchen and dining area adjoining a 40 ft screened porch. The three king size en-suite bedrooms are air conditioned but also have ceiling fans and screened porches. The living room opens onto a large deck with a freshwater pool and changing room. The buildings were all designed to be self cooling with curved roofs and jalousies front and back that open to allow the sea breeze to waft through. The kitchens and bathrooms were designed to the highest specifications. The furniture is all the iconic Richard Schultz 1966 range and all the mattresses and linens were sourced from the four seasons hotel, Miami.

Where is North Caicos?: North Caicos, is part of the Turks and Caicos islands, a British overseas territory. It is located south of the Bahamas, north of the Dominican republic and Haiti and northeast of Cuba. North Caicos is 41 square miles and has a population of around 1,500. North Caicos is 12 miles northeast of providenciales (provo) which has the international airport hub for turks and caicos islands, but there is an airport on north caicos which can handle small jets. There is a good ferry service between north caicos and provo, with 5 ferry sailings on weekdays and 3 on weekends, which makes north Caicos easily accessible. An SUV type rental car is recommended.

Amazing stay!
It was one of the most exciting vacations we had. Better than the pictures! We never wanted to leave. Great ocean views from every spot in the house.

Luxury and seclusion
When we started planing our vacation, TCI was not our first choice, until we saw this house: we made our minds right on the first picture, and didn't regret our decision for a second! The house design is fantastic, the honeymoon style rooms separate from the main house allows you to have privacy when you want, the silence and the constant breeze are very relaxing, and to have the beach completely to ourselves was the ultimate luxury. Regine was extremelly helpful from the beginning, and Joseph, the house care taker, was always there in the morning, smiling and helping with whatever we needed. But, like someone told us, "there is no perfect paradise", so watch out for the mosquitos!

Perfect
If you’re looking for the party scene this is definitely not the place for you. Peace and tranquillity with an incredible view is what you will find here. We didn’t see another person on the beach during our six day stay. The house design is perfection but structurally does show some age. It may be time to upgrade some appliances but we had all we needed. Regine and Joseph were wonderful throughout our stay. Joseph came by every morning at 9 AM to see that our needs were met. Regine was a tremendous help with transportation!! Be ready to spend some time at the airport when you arrive to get through customs. Schedule a taxi ahead of time ($45.00) to take you to the ferry. The ferry is $110 round trip for two people, again schedule ahead of time. Secure a rental vehicle with plenty of ground clearance. The roads are very bumpy for a good 10 minute drive off the main road. It is absolutely worth the extra effort to stay here. Explore North and Middle Caicos, the beauty is stunning.

Get away from it all
Yes, this house takes effort to get to, yes there are bugs to contend with and YES, it's absolutely worth it if you are looking to get away from it all. The setting is beautiful and the house is truly unique. We went for 4+ mile walks on the beach and saw no other people. Local shops and restaurants were about 30 minutes away and were never crowded. Communication was extremely easy with the management team and needs were responded to quickly. There were a couple of mechanical issues with the dishwashers and one air conditioning unit at the time, but they weren't needed. We will definitely be planning to go back at some point.

Great place
Great place and location! Gorgeous area, seemed very safe. Individual bungalows were amazing. Joseph the caretaker was so sweet and checked on us every day, was very helpful. The property manager, Regine, was an excellent communicator throughout the process. It’s not the easiest place to actually get to, is the only thing. Expect to pay about $50 with tip for 1 or 2 people (it’s about $25 per person, except if just 1 person it’s double) for a taxi from the airport to the ferry. The ferry is $55 per person round trip. So it’s about $200 for 2 people to get to and from the airport to the place—just a heads up on that! You’ll need a higher profile car to get around bc it’s remote and very rocky roads to the place. Meals at restaurants are about $30 each (there’s about 5 restaurants or so on N Caicos). We submitted a grocery list before arriving and that was very helpful. It’s not easy to get to any other islands besides Middle Caicos from the property. Definitely remote but if you’re looking for remote, we thought it was the best place on the island. Beware of the sand fleas though! Gotten eaten alive and bug spray didn’t work! Overall, would love to come back, just wasn’t aware of all of the hoops to jump. And, bc of covid requirements, we had to go back to Provo the day before our flight to get antigen testing bc there wasn’t anything on North Caicos for that.

Spring Break
We just returned home and have already booked our next visit. What a beautiful place to spend a family vacation. The buildings themselves are works of art yet relaxed and inviting. Perfect pool, perfect beach and a perfect setting. Joseph and Regine were totally accommodating. 10 out of 10.

So restful, so secluded, so classy, so romantic!
Three Mary's Cay is a magical spot. This property is a very special home. The combination makes for a great getaway. Regine ( the property manager) is a gem! She made our stay effortless. Including meeting us at the ferry, stocking the house with food, and making sure our every need was met. Joseph ( the housekeeper) was was so efficient while remaining unobtrusive. Although my wife and I had only 3 days to spend in this paradise, we felt fully rested and rejuvenated after our stay....

Beautiful House - Beautiful Spot
House was amazing. View and property were wonderful. House was clean, all of our requests taken car off. James and Regine were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The island is as quiet as you want it to be, with beautiful spots to explore. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Did not want to leave....and can't wait to come back.

We found heaven - how do you share and keep it to ourselves?
What a magical place - the pictures don't do the place justice. Private and completely unconnected! Only suggestions - need a couch or some big comfy chairs for reading during a rain storm and to watch tv (not that you will want to watch tv - but for that moment you do) Bedroom was functional and very comfortable Kitchen was well equipped and there was anything you needed or wanted- we wished we could have stayed much longer - but we will certainly be back. Thank you for sharing this heaven on earth place!

Peaceful perfection
I was fortunate enough to stay at Three Marys Cay with two friends for a week in September 2016. The property is even more stunning than I expected. The location on a is quite simply paradise. Regine and Joe made our stay comfortable and clean, all details were taken care of. Regine connected us with Captain Dedrick for a private charter boat excursion. I highly recommend this location if you want to escape the crowds and find your own private slice of paradise.

Amazing Location, Great Views, Total Privacy at an Architectural Vision!
Three Mary Cays Villa is a unique compound. Property manager Regine Forbes was excellent, providing great communication before, during & after our stay. She met us at the dock in Sandy Point, carried some of our luggage to the car, showed us the way to the house, avoiding flooded roads, and generously led us to the small grocery in Whitby before closing time. Caretaker Joseph was there as much or as little as we wanted. He was always very friendly & helpful. The main living quarters contain the main floor kitchen (with sink, stove, oven, under-counter fridge, dishwasher & water cooler) and the living room, plus screened porch. It's really quite a space, which is never truly ever closed to the elements. The jalousie blinds can be closed on the south side (and we did have to do this during the storms, as water was coming in) but the screened porch is still windy. We ate on the porch every night. The prep kitchen on the lower level has a sink and 2 medium size refrigerators/freezers, which we filled easily. The up & down from the prep to the main level was sometimes awkward. And we could have used a few more pots and pans for our group of 7, but we managed. On Regine's recommendation we rented a vehicle from Al, who couldn't have been nicer. When we plowed through some deep water on the road and the car died in our driveway, Al came and fixed it. When we got stuck backroading near Conch Cave, Al sent a van to pick us up. While probably frustrated, he treated us with professionalism and equanimity. Everyone we met was very friendly: Merrica at My Dees, the owner of Miss B's, and various others. The beach outside the house is beautiful. We never saw a soul the whole 10 days (we did find footprints twice). We went swimming every day, noting the difference in the water at high and low tide. We snorkeled at the Three Marys, just up the beach, and walked along the rocks. We had a bonfire one night that was blissfully windy (no bugs!) and yet warm. Amazing cloud formations every day. We did have a power failure our last night, but that was fun. The provided cellphone came in very handy. From the house it's a bit of a drive to anything. And the nearest roads are rough. We got groceries in Whitby or Bottle Creek. We explored Middle Caicos, where Mudjin Harbor is spectacular, but rough. Indian Cave was too buggy to enjoy at all. Conch Bar Cave is by guided tour only, which leaves much of it unseen. All the better for another trip to this magic spot!

Great trip!
We took a family vacation over the New Year's holiday and had an amazing time. The trip was with my parents, my brother and his wife, and me and my wife. If you're looking for seclusion, relaxation and quality time, this place is great, but it's definitely not for everybody. As you can probably tell from the website, this place is beautifully designed, very secluded and well-equipped. The villas are separated by over a mile on each side from the nearest neighbors and the white sand beach looks like it belongs on a postcard. There are all types of coffee makers and cooking equipment, as well as a grill, electric stoves, oven, toaster, blender, etc. As will most rental houses, all the knives were dull, but I'm not sure I've rented a house where that wasn't the case. Everything was clean and beautiful, and Regine and Joseph were very friendly and attentive. But here are some reasons that North Caicos may not be for everybody: - It's a 15-20min drive from the ferry down some very rocky, unpaved roads. - There is not much in the way of stores and restaurants on the island so you need to be prepared to cook most of your meals. - Although the area is known for some of the best snorkeling on the island, it's not that great for snorkeling, and the good areas are either very far offshore or in rough waters near rocks. We booked a charted trip, which was good. - The sand flies and mosquitoes are pretty unbearable when there was not much wind and after rain. Nothing seemed to keep the sand flies from biting, and we were all covered in bites by the end. This is true for anywhere on North Caicos. The bottom line: the quality of the villas and the service, and the beauty and seclusion were top notch. People just need to know what to expect when visiting North Caicos.

Robinson Crusoe deluxe
The villa and setting were just extraordinary. All seasoned travellers in our party, we have never encountered anything so magical. The house is built to the highest standard, with great attention to detail. The separation of sleeping quarters is ideal, and the ability to sleep with open jalousies listening to the waves was wonderful. Most of all we appreciated the sense of privacy the property affords; the house is set in extensive grounds, and we had the whole beach to ourselves. We stayed for a week, and only ventured outside once, for a rather lacklustre dinner. Regine and Joseph did everything to make our stay comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat.

Heaven on Earth
This beautiful Villa located near the small town of Whitby on North Caicos is the very image of what one would imagine heaven to look like. With a wondrous view of the beach and seemingly no other human life within eyesight, it is the perfect place for one to relax and be calm. The villa and it's design allow for a small party of people to stay with the ability to get away from each other due to the separation of the three sleeping 'pods', whilst being able to all congregate in the central pods for meals etc... Joseph, the caretaker, is one of the most smiley and friendly men you will ever meet and is always willing to help you should you have any issues. The stay was a perfect getaway and I cannot sing its praises any higher.

What a fanstastic place !
I arranged a pre-Christmas rendezvous here with friends who came down from NYC, stayed a week and what a good idea it was ! Super relaxing time was had by all - lots of swimming, snorkelling, lounging about and developing culinary expertise. We had one - slightly- rainy day which gave us an excuse to head over to beauttiful Mudjin Harbour, wander around and have lunch at Daniel's Cafe (Cracked Conch with the original "Heaven in a Bottle"). Otherwise there was more than enough sun, sand and snorkelling to keep us delighted - all only a short walk/swim away. The main house and three separate bedroom / living rooms are conected by a raised horseshow boardwalk which curves toward the sea. We arrived after dark so did not immediately appreaciate how well organised, well thought out and well designed 3 Marys Villas is. The next day and every succeeding day we began to realise what a true find this place is and how much attention to detail has gone into it all. The three double bedrooms allow more than enough quiet space so a big group can stay and it need not feel crowded. The rooms are really well designed big bathroom / shower area; large double bedroom with superb linen and stylish Best lamps, and a screened porch area - the latter two with large ceiling fans so plenty of space to be by yourself, rest, read and relax. The central house has an infinity pool in a huge deck, huge screeend in porch area for after dark and large living/dining room with open plan kitchen. It's the perfect space for cocktails after a long day and a quiet nap - and plenty of space for cooking, dining, chatting and lounging long into the night when all you will see is clear skies and every star. Regine did a fantastic job looking after us - met us at the ferry and showed us all we needed to know in an hour and even found us fresh lobster tails ! Joseph is there every day keeping the place super clean and tidy. I'm not a real foody but preparing dinner with friends in that kitchen every night was just like being at the centre of a party... and there must be something good in the TCI lifestyle because despite a week of gormandising none of us put on any weight ! What I remember most is waking up each day with the sunrise, to the sound of the waves, a gentle breeze, a few clouds being blown clear, jalousies adjusted to allow in just the right amount of morning light, and wandering up the boardwalk past passion flowers to make coffee... what a dream !

I stayed here for just over a week and it was the perfect getaway. The house has all the amenities you could need and is right on the beach. It's the ideal place to escape from the stresses of life. Secluded, private and completely calming. There is very good snorkelling to be had, as well as kayaking and windsurfing. I enjoyed days of unbroken sunshine, but for the occasional, spectacular tropical storm. There is no noise apart from the waves and the animals and the lack of light pollution means at night you can see every star. There are many books and DVDs to enjoy as you listen to the waves crashing outside. There aren't many shops on North but you can get the essentials. There is also a restaurant and a cafe. But for a big shop it's best to go to the supermarket on Provo, which has everything you could need. Joseph, the caretaker of the house, is always kind, helpful and polite. He kept the house clean and tidy, whilst allowing for complete privacy. I also recommend a trip to Middle Caicos to see the beautiful beaches. It is also only a short boat ride to Parrot Cay (a luxury hotel on it's own island) where we went for lunch and a visit to the spa. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend.

Loved It
Wow! We really loved this place! It's an amazing house. Very modern, but unlike a lot of modern buildings I know, it works well and is comfortable. There is a huge porch that looks out over the deck, the pool and the beach. The beach is one of the nicest I've seen. We had it to ourselves all but one day. The house is very clean and comfortable and Joseph, the caretaker looked after us really well. North Caicos is really, really quiet. There are only a couple of stores, but there is a nice restaurant called The Silver Palm a short drive down the beach run by Karen who knows everything about the island and is very helpful about where to go and what to see. We had a really restful time here and would love to come back again! I'd definitely recommend it.
