Skoolie New River Gorge - Big Blue
Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. West Virginia really is “almost heaven”. The Schoolies are located just a few miles from the New River Gorge National Park. The buses are located conveniently off a well maintained gravel road and face beautiful rolling hills with hay and wildflowers in season. Deer frequent the pastures along with a family of foxes and Phil, the groundhog who has chosen it as his home. There are two schoolies if you have more people and need more space. Minimum age 25

Perfect time away with family! A great unique little spot that had all the comforts of home. I couldn’t believe how well the space was sectioned off - and even a large fridge and a 5 burner stove! We enjoyed sitting outside under the pergola for our meals. A wonderful get away! My kids loved playing “bus driver” to let us in and out of the vehicle. Great experience all around.
We surprised our kids (10 and 12) on a road trip with this stop and the look on their faces as we pulled up was worth every penny out there. While we only stayed one night, we made the most of it, playing games on the outside table, cooking dinner and eating as a group of deer made their way into the field near us, and completed the night with smores. An experience we will never forget!
