"I was in town visiting a friend for nearly two weeks, and this little pod was such a delightful place to stay! Situated in a very charming Japanese garden, it was plenty private, cozy and comfortable. It also seemed bigger inside than the pictures might make it look. The hosts Ian and Caz were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They stocked a basket with all kinds of snacks and breakfast foods and even brought us some home baked cake and scones. Very happy with my stay. Would highly recommend this place and plan on coming back here myself."

"Delighted with the whole 3 night mini break. Room was quirky, comfortable and clean (other reviewers are right - the hot water does take a while to come through). Food was excellent (pace yourselves!!). If you can’t find anything you like for breakfast then there’s no helping you. Staff and service both excellent. "
