Great location for exploring the island, fab dog walking in nearby woods, with a dog friendly cafe on site for breakfast.

Another relaxing stay at Paddock Cottage
Perfect cottage for us and our Dog. Nice that the garden furniture had been updated. Wi-Fi could be improved as only works in the kitchen area. Hope to return next year.

Fantastic find
The cottage was perfect, clean, warm, cozy and very well equipped. Restaurant on site, for breakfast and lunch. Quiet, peaceful location. Definitely a 10 out of 10x

Lovely cottage
We had a lovely stay, the kitchen was well stocked and the whole place was very clean. It was in the perfect location for us, and we enjoyed seeing the various animals (horses and peacocks) each morning. We also had a lovely breakfast at the restaurant on our last day. It did feel expensive in comparison to other places we have stayed.

We had an amazing weekend at the garlic farm. There is much to do on the farm and country walks.
We spent a weekend in the paddock cottage. I could not recommend it more. It is the perfect place for a couples retreat or family holiday. There is plenty to do and the restaurant does some amazing food. I would highly recommend.

Well equipped, very comfortable cottage. Have stayed many times over the years.
The cottage is specifically for two people, but there is a very comfortable sofa bed in the lounge, which we used this year. We love the location, and the owners and staff are welcoming. The Garlic Farm is central to lots of places of interest, and also provides its own interesting activities. If you are lucky, you may also see red squirrels, as we did this year!

Revisiting old haunts
The lovely setting and unique nature of the farm together with the friendliness made this stay most pleasurable. Blessed with warm weather sitting outside could benefit from some more comfortable furniture. The staff always helpful and the advantage of a discount on purchases and the restaurant a bonus. Lovely stay with red squirrels for company.

AMAZING!
From start to finish, the Garlic Farm is absolutely fantastic. I will be recommending this to all my friends and family!! The paddock cottage was absolutely spotless, and so nice and all the furnishings are great. The only little thing I’d say, is please provide hand soap, other than that it’s 10/10. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit
Ideal for the short break we took. Well equipped. Ticked all the 'green' & eco boxes. We watched red squirrels in the garden attached to the cottage. Lots of wildlife. Quiet & private, yet only a 40m walk to the restaurant - super lunch & breakfast. Good walks out around farm and ideal for visiting the rest of the island.

Great place for a relaxing get-away.
We had a mid week mini break for 2 nights. A lovely couple of nights spent at Paddock cottage. This was are second stay at the Garlic Farm. A lovely setting for a vist and away from the hustle and bustle of city life. A nice and peaceful location. The cottage was immaculate with nice attention to detail like fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee provided. Their is a restaurant on the property and a information book in the cottage with a guide to local pubs and restaurants and full of top tips for your stay. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing break..

Wonderfully Wild
Spent 5 days at the cottage and enjoyed the walks around the farm amongst all the wild flowers and butterflies and the elusive red squirrels. Food in the restaurant is very good, served in hearty portions and is very garlic centered ! The farm is very busy at times during the day but is very peaceful during the evening. Accommodation facilities very good with nice patio to relax on. Will definitely return to the farm for another relaxing stay

Ideal for a short winter break
Making the booking was super easy, even helping to sort out the ferry bookings to suit our travel needs. The accommodation is in a lovely setting, and the arrival was warm and welcoming despite the British weathers best attempts to put a damper on proceedings. The cottage was fabulous, and absolutely perfect for the two of us plus our dog. Warm and cosy. On-site staff were really welcoming, and so too were the chickens, who greeted us on our doorstep on 2 of the mornings :) Breakfast in the restaurant was fabulous. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

If you get the chance - visit the Garlic Farm !
We have been staying here for some years and there is very little we can criticise if anything ! The accommodation is perfect for us, we are left to our own devices although it was nice to meet the owners passing by. It is ideally situated for access to all the island, a superbly equipped shop and restaurant and small cafe plus the added bonus of the local peacocks who made our stay special with an unexpected display of vibrant plumage on our doorstep one evening ! And of course if you love garlic as we do then this is the place to stay!

Two night stay review
Perfect location and fantastic to see the peacocks again! Great to have the restaurant and cafe so close. Lovely setting, beautiful flowers and nice to have the paddock for a spot of soft ball and bat cricket. Lovely staff. Disappointingly however the cleanliness was a problem (rectified quickly but the cleaning team need to up their game). Our child’s sofa bed was also not made up so we had to get that done at half past ten pm after coming back from a party. Just not ideal.

Excellent stay
The cottage was warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place is well equipped for 2, although it can take 4 I wouldn’t recommend it. Towels were large and fluffy. A lovely touch was the complimentary garlic bulb and jar of pickle, plus local milk. I would liked to have seen some instructions on using the microwave and oven but we managed. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Perfect family holiday
I recently hired the Garlic Farm accommodation for my 40th birthday celebration. The Accommodation team were brilliant at helping us put on an amazing event and catering to our guest’s individual needs. Friends and family members having been raving about the experience in the weeks afterwards. The site is stunning, there are plenty of activities for children and adults and the accommodation is very well maintained. The communal yurt proved to be a real hub of fun and activity throughout our weekend. We will not hesitate to book again.

Short stay in Paddock cottage
Nice little cottage in a very peaceful location. Added bonus was the lovely little courtyard garden which was a real suntrap early mornings and mid afternoons. Very thoughtful gift of some garlic pickle and bulb. It had everything I needed and as a single traveller I felt completely safe and relaxed. The cottage was also delightfully cool which was very welcome during the hot weather. Thank you for a lovely short break.

A birthday treat!
Paddock cottage was cosy and comfortable and very warm. Was hoping the shop sold bread, but we will know better next time. Lost the key and it was replaced quickly and without fuss. Found the original key later. Excellent meal at the conveniently local Pub in Newchurch, and an equally excellent lunch in the farm restaurant. Will highly reccommend the Garlic Farm to others.

Short autumn brak
Very enjoyable and comfortable stay in Paddock Cottage. Could have done with better lighting in sitting area for reading. Private garden and patio ideal for keeping our bikes (not undercover). Convenient parking area just outside the front door although had to reverse down the drive. Good walks around he Garlic Farm itself and excellent restaurant. Everyone very friendly. A great area for cycling.

Wholesome Family Holiday
Our stay at the Garlic Farm has been just magical and a perfect getaway for a family holiday. The newly renovated cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. As a passionate cook, I was very pleased with the fully kitted kitchen which has absolutely everything you need to make beautiful home cooked meals. Saying that, the Garlic Farm restaurant is a gem and offers great meals and generous portions. The kids loved the grounds, visiting the roaming peacocks and playing in the fun games room and playpark onsite. If we had our dog, he would have loved it too. Thank you for the friendly hospitality, we will definitely return!

Perfect Cottage, perfect location, perfect weather (this time!)
This was our second stay in Paddock Cottage since moving back to the mainland 18 months ago. Great to be able to stay at one of our favourite locations on the Island. Having had winter storms and floods nearby on our previous visit, the weather was unseasonably perfect. A treat to sit in the little garden, with a glass of the shop's excellent wine, watching rabbits running around, Buzzards circling overhead, birdsong (and Peacocks), the Peacock proudly displaying his magnificent tail. Very well equipped and comfortable accommodation, prompt responses to any problem. Everything eco-friendly. An ideal setting for us: quiet and peaceful but not isolated, overlooking the restaurant but in a private, raised area. Wonderful dog-walk round the farm. A very special place.

Fabulous farm to stay at
A very different experience. Cottage was well presented , comfortable and clean. Pleasant small garden, nice bistro table (although a bigger table and more inviting seat covers would be a bonus.) Water was piping hot and plentiful. Kitchen had basic equipment, if you want to cook. Lovely scenery lovely walks around the farm site and to the village. Love the philosophy and ethics of the farm business and how welcoming they are to the public. Restaurant food is excellent and staff well trained. Shop has a good stock of goods to buy. Plenty of wildlife around including peacock and peahen. Would happily return.

Lovely property in a lovely location
My husband and I had a really lovely stay in Paddock Cottage. We were left a very nice welcome package which included garlic products and essential milk, tea and coffee . The cottage was well equipped and being able to sit out in our very pretty little garden was brilliant . The Peacock and hen visited on our last evening which kept us entertained , but sadly we didn’t get to see any red squirrels which we knew must be about. We didn’t actually meet the owners but we did exchange texts when we arrived and left . We had breakfast at the Garlic farm on our last morning and it was excellent . We didn’t get to try lunch as we were always out and about . The shop is full of lovely garlicky goodies and yes we visited there a couple of times ❤️ There are a couple of nice walks around the farm which we did in the evenings . All in all a very good place to stay and well placed for travelling around the island . This was our first visit to the IOW and we will be back .
