Charming, private, six bedroom, three bath, lake house with dockspace, a paddle boat etc. Situated on three lots with more than 500' lake frontage and access to beach fifty yards away. The best part is the enormous wrap around porch overlooking the lake, with mountains in the distance. One hour from Mount Washington, and only one and a half hours to Boston. Just across the lake from Laconia. Nearby there's hiking, golf, shopping, but we bet you'll spend your time on the porch

Great location!
100 percent recommend staying here! 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms are perfect. We wanted space and we got exactly that. The screened in porch was great as well! We rented a boat and the dock was excellent. Ruth was fantastic with responding prior to the stay and I had two questions during. They were answered very quickly. 5/5 stars!

Lakefront property--amazing view
It was wonderful for our group to be right on the water. The deck over the water was phenomenal. We enjoyed lots of time as a family there with a beautiful view. The lake was quiet with little activity--just what we were looking for. There were lots of bedrooms for everyone to have their own space and lots of places inside and out where we could all gather. Walking to the beach in just minutes was a huge perk, but having the ability to swim off the dock was also wonderful for our group. The house was rustic-- furniture, carpeting, and porch cushions/pillows could use some updating. Kitchen was very well-stocked with pots and pans and utensils. We were all able to park our cars at the house with the two driveways. That was extremely helpful.

Laconia Bike Week
We loved our stay and the house! It was nice to relax on the screened-in porch after a long days of riding with some peace & quiet, but close enough to everything for bike week. Ruth was a great host! It was the first time I actually had someone call me beforehand to verify and give me details about the property.

very peaceful
this was the most relaxing vacation I have ever taken. The porch is beautiful as the view is peaceful. the neighbors are not close which is great and being right on the water was amazing. large property. Able to see the sunrise and the moon rise (we had the harvest moon which was beyond spectacular to see over the water. ) Ruth the host was very nice to work with.

An escape back to simpler times
The house was perfect for a small family reunion for 3 generations. We have been a family whose annual vacation was to camp lakeside in Maine (tent and all) until the grandparents reached their 80s and we wanted them to have a few more comforts. This place has its rustic elements which was perfect for us, but might not be perfect if you expect every bedroom to have an en suite bathroom and air conditioning. But if you want a quiet retreat where the focus is on lake activities, reading on a screened porch, and spending time with each other, this is the place.

Great multi generational stay!
We were more than happy with our host and our stay.! Ruth is was very responsive as we were planning our stay.The kitchen was better stocked than my own, the lake water is crystal clear with a sandy bottom, the mattresses and pillows comfy and the wrap around screened porch was the best. The location was easily accessible to the Lake Winnisquam Trail, a major grocery store and several quaint little towns. We had a 12 year old , 2 college students and one adult studying/working remotely and the wifi was spot on. We had 5 adults including my 96 year old dad. We will definitely be back again. PS it's pet friendly and our dogs loved the private beach which was a 5 minute and that you could see from the dock.

The waterfront area and screened porch were wonderful. Our extended family enjoyed using the kayaks, water carpet and deck above the boathouse. Using bottled water for drinking and cooking was a bit problematic, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Country charm and fun
This house transported you to a another time. There was an abundance of charm in the house! There was also an abundance of games to play when everyone wasn’t outside. The house easily slept my entire party of 8. We were never overcrowded since there were also 2 living rooms! Plenty of space for my aunt’s puzzle not to be disturbed. The screen in porch was amazing and also had plenty of seating! Lake winni was beautiful and quite warm. We loved jumping off the dock and swimming around. I could also watch my children swim from the covered porch or the outdoor deck. A short walk away was a sandy beach! This was a wonderful summer get away
