The location itself was beyond lovely - situated amongst the vineyards, peaceful, and easy driving to Mt. Etna. Parking was convenient - a small lot across the road from the property. "Its a quiet rural area. Peaceful and relaxing. The little hamlet is walkable. Restaurants, groceries and attractions near by. We loved this so much we booked it 3 separate times on this holiday. "The villa was everything we could have wished for. It had a functional indoor space with everything you need and an excellent shower. The outdoor space was huge, with a big verandah and bbq area. The pool was a good size and when not exploring Palermo, Etna, the Aolean Islands or Capo D'orlando we were enjoying villa days, up to 12 hours in the pool. We picked nearby lemons to enjoy in iced water. Out of consideration we replaced anything we used, including foil, toilet roll, hand wash and pool inflatables. Antonio was helpful and answered any questions we had, he put in a big fan to help with the heat. The drive to it from the main road was tricky - take your time, but totally worth the draw-dropping views and seclusion. We took our two daughters aged 14 and 11 who loved it too. Capri Leone had everything we needed, supermarkets, post office, hardware store. Chimera pizza restaurant was delicious, large good-priced pizzas. Incredible memories, thank you. "

"This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. Guiseppe is a 6th gen wine maker who is making wine organically and the way he has updated making process while maintaining the history and heritage was fantastic, well worth it. We liked the fact that a restaurant is on site and their pizzas are great. We were lucky to be there on Guiseppe’s birthday, he had a pool party with food and wine and we were invited to join and enjoyed the evening especially as Etna was erupting in the distance and was a sight to behold, not to mention the wine was fantastic. We will definitely stay again "
