Great hotel in a perfect location!
Great location right in the centre of San Teodoro, surrounded by shops and restaurants within walking distance. Although in a peaceful and quiet environment. Great breakfast, spacious and clean room, beautiful swimming pool and helpful staff. The only thing to fault was that there was no kettle available in the room, other than that perfect!

Quite a gem!
A very well located small hotel with only 17 rooms. Walking distance within two minutes to a vibrant but not noisy town where there are plenty of restaurants, a small street night market and shops that open till 1.00am during July and August. The buffet breakfast was mainly cold items but an abundant spread of sweet and savoury items and options to make toast. Great coffee too! The rooms are comfortable, with a large bathroom and firm mattresses, some at ground level with a patio and some with balconies, overlooking a small pool which we did not use. We would have if we could have had an early morning swim, but it is only available after 9.30am. The front desk is not manned 24 hours, but for most of the time, and the staff are very helpful. Parking is secluded and off the street, a big bonus. I would definitely stay here again and San Teodoro is geographically well placed for highway connections to the north and the south. The only criticism of the place is that the towels are only changed every 3 days and they are not the most absorbent of towels. But I guess they are helping the environment that way!

Sardinian Splendour
Loved this hotel in a quiet, edge of town position but with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and pretty gardens. The staff were very friendly especially Maximilian who was really helpful with tips on good trips and eateries - he even caught some rather large and hairy moths in our room with a large net as my daughter and I were too short to catch them!! Very clean and spacious rooms with a comfy large double bed and very effective air con. Beach at La Cinta is beautiful if you walk about half a mile to the left where it is more secluded and the sand a real powdery white. The sea is beautiful as the beach gently shelves into it making it safe for little ones. The town is very traditional Italian with lots of great eateries and bars but also has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere - not really for the party animals but great for our lower key taste!! All in all a fabulous holiday which I thoroughly recommend - thank you Il Viandante!!

Lovely hotel, perfect location. The owners and staff are amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Budget price, so not as many facilities as larger hotels. But whatever you need, you only need to ask. Close to shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay here, very friendly check in, beautiful pool area, spacious room and great location. Two supermarkets nearby and 3 beaches within walking distance. Plenty of bars and restaurants too. Totally recommend. Easily reached by bus from Olbia.

Great Location, Outstanding Hotel!
My wife and I only had two days to stay in San Teodoro, so we booked a room at Il Viandante. The room was clean, elegant, and convenient to restaurants, markets, and shopping without being noisy. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the two brothers - Massimino and Roberto - provide outstanding customer service. We had to leave early on check-out (well before breakfast) and they provided a breakfast bag for us to enjoy without any prompting at all. Overall, a classy hotel with a great ambience. Deserving of the already great reviews.

Great hotel with fantastic views
Apart from being slightly difficult to find the hotel far exceeded our expectations. We has a room with a porch seating area that faced the mountains in the distance. The room was well equipped with a large bathroom, tv & free wi-fi. The breakfast was varied & plentiful and the location of the hotel in the centre of the town, but within walking distance of several sandy beaches made it an ideal base
