"Really nice modern apartment in an ancient building. Comfortable queen bed, nice bathrooms, and a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea that's perfect for a sunset glass of wine. There are several excellent restaurants and bars less than two minutes' walk from the property, and a handful more within 5 minutes' drive. One word of caution: if you have any mobility issues, you will have difficulty getting up the lengthy exterior steps and the interior spiral staircase between floors. We found it...

"Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back."

"Wir haben zu viert 2 tolle Wochen in Fabiens Haus verbracht und jeden Augenblick genossen! Der wunderbare Blick auf das Meer, den man beim Essen auf der Terrasse genießen kann, die Ruhe, die super ausgestattete Küche, Betten in denen man bequem schlafen kann und ein Gastgeber, der sich so rührend um seine Gäste kümmert, wie ich es noch nicht erlebt habe, sind nur die wichtigsten Punkte! "Christy was an amazing host. She went out of her way several times to make us feel comfortable and at home. The apartment had all the amenities we needed although the historic town was very rustic. The steps in the old town were challenging but the views were great!"

"The beautiful view and space was luxurious! The host was always available and helpful. The fresh fruits and vegetables shared with us by the land manager were delicious!!! And pool was clean and well kept. The mattresses and pillows are very old and uncomfortable and very much need to be updated. Some of the full size beds were actually two cots put together. This was disappointing. Not enough blankets and towels were provided."

"The booking and check in process were easy. Our host, Antonio, met us at the apartment even though we were delayed for several hours. The location is in Baia del Carpino, with gorgeous views of the Mediterranean. Because we stayed off-season, some shops and restaurants in the area were closed, but everything you need is just a short drive away. We really enjoyed our stay."
