Boasting breathtaking views of the central lake to write home about, this striking rustic-style villa offers an exclusive holiday setting for large groups of 9.

From the Rezzonico roadside a private drive leads up to the beautiful villa, which enjoys a sunny and elevated location in which to take in the panoramic lake views. The villa is partly clad in a rustic-style stone facade and is built into the mountainside, to harmoniously blend into the surrounding natural landscape.

Inside families and friends can enjoy a sumptuous and contemporary home ideal for holiday relaxation and enjoyment. The ground floor of the villa is simply made for socialising; with a large open plan living and dining area enhanced by pictures windows and set beneath a striking beamed ceiling. A stylish L-shaped sofa offers the perfect spot to enjoy a movie to the TV, whilst those looking to enjoy some fine wining and dining have use of an elegant dining area.

Also featuring to the open plan room is a chic and fun fitted kitchen, with glossy red worktops and stunning mountain views to offer the perfect excuse for home cooking during your stay. All the must-have appliances are to hand here, from a gas hob, oven and microwave to a kettle, coffee machine, dishwasher and full size fridge. A breakfast table to the kitchen also serves as the ideal spot for enjoying relaxed morning breakfasts or an informal indoor meal.

Leading outside from the living area, guests will find a large sunny terrace perfect for summertime entertaining, with a lake view dining area overlooking the lake.

The first floor of the villa features 3 beautifully presented bedrooms each furnished with cherry wood beds, double wardrobes, and comprising 2 king size bedrooms and one single bedroom. All are furnished to a high contemporary standard, with a private balcony also featuring to each of the king size bedrooms.

The charming upper loft-style floor enjoys a romantic ski-chalet charm from its sloping beamed ceilings, and comprises 2 further bedrooms. The king size master bedroom to this floor features a beautiful solid brass bed alongside a contemporary en-suite bathroom, for guests comfort. The second bedroom to the upper floor is equally spacious and comprises a twin bedroom furnished with a set of single cherry wood beds with access to a modern en-suite bathroom.

Two further contemporary bathrooms are provided to the sleeping accommodation floors whilst a fourth bathroom to the basement laundry room offers the perfect place in which to shower after a swim.

Outside the balcony featuring to three sides of the villa is complemented by a large covered ground floor terrace to the fourth side. The sunny private garden offers a mesmerising lake view back drop for a peaceful escape away from the nearby central lake attractions. Guests can while away an afternoon with a good book and BBQ lunch in the sunshine, enjoy splashing around to the private outdoor pool or top the day off with an alfresco sunset dinner party.

The villa offers additional outside parking for 2 more cars. Nestled within the tranquil surroundings of Marena, which is located 310m above sea level in the commune of San Siro (formerly known as Santa Maria Rezzonico), guests are perfectly placed to enjoy the surrounding history and villa attractions alongside the wealth of nearby restaurants, ferry links and leisure pursuits of the central lake.

The nearby centre of Rezzonico offers a timeless idyll in which to relax, with ancient cobbled streets leading past charming townhouses to a striking lake front piazza and a relaxed public beach.

Located just a 6 minute drive from Menaggio, guests are perfectly placed for making the most of the central lake! The picturesque resort town of Menaggio offers a wide selection of restaurants to savour alongside delicatessens, grocery shops, boutique shop-lined streets and sunny vibrant piazzas, which come alive with locals enjoying a morning cappuccino or evening aperitif. The idyllic lakeside leads northwards to a fantastic family-friendly lido and southwards to a car and passenger ferry service, ideal for reaching the Tremezzina shore, Bellagio and Varenna.

Menaggio and the surrounding central lake offer a wide range of activities, from power boat rental, sailing and windsurfing to hiking, cycling, tennis and golf. Tree-top climbing at the Jungle Raider Park, extreme sports at the Bellagio outdoor sports centre and skiing in Piani di Bobbio and Madesimo all offer more great distractions for thrill-seekers and sports enthusiasts.

Guests can also easily replenish their senses at the nearby Dolce Aqua day Spa in Lenno, after a memorable day of sightseeing in the beautiful villa attractions or in the nearby cities of Como, Milan and Lugano. The house, property and views were beautiful! However the location for our group was a bit too rural. . A couple of people in our group could not manage the walk down to the bus stop due to the steepness. Taxi service was non existent, so we could not have dinner in Menaggio, as the buses stopped early.

Great house and location but needs updating
The house was well-appointed and was nice for our party of eight. The view was amazing, and the neighborhood was great. The washer needs to be replaced, it stopped working. Our biggest complaint was the bee issue in the pool. Deigo was responsive to our WhatsApp messages and sent out a maintenance staff member, but using poison was not an option if we wanted to continue using the pool. We asked for a partial refund but it was never addressed. Overall we had a good five-night stay but the nature of the bees on the property made it difficult to enjoy the patio and pool at times.

The property itself was very nice, it had great views and the size was just right for our group of 7. It was a 5 minute walk to a bus stop which got us to any town on Lake Como, we took the bus daily to Menaggio and one day to Como. A few things that were not that good: 1. When we arrived, there were ants crawling all over the kitchen countertops. 2. Outside of toilet paper, there were no paper products (paper towels, napkins) and no dishwasher detergent or dish soap which made it hard to clean the dishes. 3. The management company was not particularly helpful, difficult to reach by phone. It is a great place and location but the 3 items above detracted from our experience.

Sehr schönes Haus!
Das Haus war bei Ankunft (16h) noch nicht geputzt, die Müllsäcke der Vorgänger standen noch in der Wohnung und es war sehr unordentlich. Nach unserem Telefonanruf kam die Putzgruppe und räumte auf. wir mussten ca. 1h warten, bis wir ins Haus hinein konnten. Ansonsten hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Panoramalage ist einzigartig und die Ausstattung des Hauses war sehr gütig. Man sollte noch erwähnen, dass in der Nachbarschaft sich die Diskothek Papaya befindet und am Wochenende in der Nacht es sehr laut ist.

July 2016 I just want to thank you all for a wonderful week at Villa Louise on Lake Como. For a Family of 7 traveling together it was the best way to go. The house was great and had everything in it that we needed (except air conditioning), as you can tell since we only called once. Dear Karin and Harold, I am sorry it took so long for me to come with my feedback regarding our stay at Villa Louise. For me was this was a ‘once in a life time’ vacation. It was a reunion of 9 highschool friends from Indonesia. Staying at Lake Como is part of our reunion tour. After a long search at the internet, we chose Villa Louise. The reality is that Villa Louise is everything as described at the website. It was a beautiful villa, clean and well kept. The scenery was breath-taking, looking out to the beautiful Lake Como. The staff were very helpful and reacted adequately and very pleasantly to our needs! Also, the location of Villa Louise is centrally convenient; from there we made day- trips to Milaan,Torino , Venetie and to Switzerland. Last but not least, the team of Happy Holiday Homes and the local team was just perfect. Danillo and his staff are very helpful and the person we called at 01:30 am was also doing his best to help us find the way to the Villa.

Thanks for reaching out! I wanted to provide some feedback regarding our recent stay at Villa Louise. • First and foremost we really enjoyed the Villa. It was clean, well kept, and the scenery was amazing. • Everyone in the office was very nice and attentive to our needs. • Our activities included the following.. o Boat rental on Lake Como through Nautic Planet… I would highly suggest this to anyone. Such a great experience on a beautiful day. o We hiked from San Salvatore to Morcote on Lake Lugano. This was fantastic as well. A brief stop in the town of Carona for lunch at a place called La Sosta. Very good! o We hiked to the summit of Monta Grona via Riffugio Mennagio. This was the highlight of the trip for me and a must do for anyone that is a serious trekker! o We visited Lake Maggiore. Started at San Caterina del Sasso and took the boat over tho Stresa. From there we visited the Borromeo Islands. Another awesome day! o On Lake Como we visited the towns of Maggiore (often as this was the closest larger town), Varenna, Bellagio, and our "home town" of Rezzinico. In Bellagio we did a great hike that went through the suburban area. In Varenna we hiked up to the castle and visited the gardens. Both were great. Before we checked out on Saturday morning we strolled around Rezzinico. This was a highlight for sure. A sleepy little town that made for fantastic photography! o We also visited the town of Leno and Villa Balbianello. o On the way back to Milan we stopped in Como. Compared to the other towns we visited this was a major disappointment. Very urban. o We really enjoyed the market L'angolo delle Carni in Mennagio.. A few nights we picked up Cheese, Meats, and Wine at this shop and enjoyed from the picnic table at villa Louise! o We also got "take away" Pizza from the restaurant in Rezzinico. Very good! All in all we had a wonderful trip to Lake Como! I will tell all of my travel friends about our experience and be sure to recommend Happy Holiday Homes. As a matter of fact, I have already passed on your information to a few friends. Many were asking after seeing the photos on Facebook!

What a fantastic place ! the villa , the views, the tranquility.The villa is in a fabulous location and very well appointed. It is furnished and decorated to a high standard and is very comfortable. It was well equipped for use by nine adults both inside and out. Was ideal for a large group to eat inside or outside All rooms lived up to the expectations, photographs do not do the villa justice, it is certainly a place one would wish to return to. The directions to the villa were clear and easily followed to what could have been a hard location to find.Staff in the office were helpful.

Thanks. I've already written a glowing review of Villa Louise; it is superb!!! One couple in our group dined at the Michelin-starred Mistral in the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio for their anniversary. Expensive but well worth it was the report. Visitors should see the Santa Maria Assunta church in San Siro. It is a lovely building with beautiful frescos, and there is some interesting restoration work going on inside at present. We enjoyed the gelato on Piazza Garibaldi on several occasions; it's all good. And the little outdoor restaurant at the northern end of the Lido in Menaggio is inexpensive and very pleasant.

Amazing
This is a wonderful, wonderful holiday home. It is bright, airy, modern, clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious (there was ample room for our group of nine, with dining tables big enough for all of us inside the house and also outside on the patio), child-friendly (great swimming pool, game room downstairs); the kitchen is fully equipped, there is an ample supply of linens, towels, etc. But the best part is the views: from all the rooms, the patio, the lawn by the pool, looking east and south over the lake and the soaring mountains rising out of the lake, the views are breathtaking. And then of course there's the whole area to explore: hiking and walking trails, ferries on the lake, Belaggio, Menaggio, Varenna and the other little towns on the lake, shops, fine restaurants (everything from the local pizza parlor in Rezzonico to a Michelin-starred restaurant in Belaggio), gelatto (!), beautiful villas and gardens. We all loved every minute of our week at Villa Louise. It doesn't get any better.

Our choice of Villa Louise to accommodate our large group of friends was a good one. Overall we were very happy with the house. The views were amazing and the hill-side aspect, outdoor space and large windows were excellent for taking in the lake vista. The lovely open kitchen, dining, lounge area was perfect for us and the house was very well-equipped with crockery, seating and DVDs etc for entertaining. The assistance from your company, prior to the rental and when we arrived was very good, thank you. Menaggio as a base, was excellent, and we had a lovely time staying on Lake Como, and in Villa Louise.

im Haus lag ein Papier mit der Bitte um Bewertung. Ich habe damals ganz viel auf diese Papier geschrieben. Schade, dass Sie das nicht gefunden haben. Jetzt ist viel Zeit vergangen. Insgesamt waren wir natürlich sehr zufrieden, denn das Haus ist ja wirklich sehr schön und alles noch ganz neu. Positiv ist die gute Ausstattung, insbesondere in der Küche. In vielen Ferienwohnungen oder -häusern gibt es viel zuwenig. Einziger negativer Punkt waren die Gartenmöbel. Die Plastikmöbel passen nicht so ganz zu dem Niveau des Hauses und ein Stuhl war kaputt. Das ist aber nur so eine Anmerkung und nicht wirklich schlimm. Herzlichen Gruß
