Located directly on the Pacific Ocean in the middle of the rolling Santa Lucia mountain range is the Brook's Beach retreat. With Hearst Castle to the north and the quaint village of Cambria four minutes to the south, this beautiful area truly offers something for everyone. That is... if you even want to leave this special place.

The retreat features 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, showcasing beautiful views of the Pacific ocean from an array of vantage points including the front deck, guest bedroom deck and directly from the Kitchen-living room area. Imagine cooking your evening meal with a pod of dolphins splashing directly in front of you. Have a glass of wine on the deck while grey whales pass by en route to their summer home in Mexico. Sea otters, Elephant seals, and Zebra are also close by for your wildlife viewing pleasure.
Take a walk on the beach at sunset, stroll through the tide and watch the seagulls hover over the sea while you sit and relax with your friends and family. This house is truly a home that allows you to soak up all the amenities coastal living has to offer.

If you prefer outdoor activities- wine tasting, world-class restaurants, and shopping are at your fingertips within a short distance. The Brooks Beach retreat is truly a happy place, make this your happy home away from home. Not pet friendly.

When you're ready to venture out and explore the beautiful Central Coast you will have many options close by. Hearst Castle and Hearst Winery, perched above the San Simeon Cove, are a short drive up the coast, and the famed Paso Robles wine country is a quick drive east. Charming San Luis Obispo is a 45-minute drive south and the Big Sur Coast is at your doorstep heading north. Cambria is the perfect starting off point for countless adventures.

A month of pure relaxation
The property manager was very helpful. Communicated well from beginning to end. The rental property was fantastic. Fully stocked kitchen. Just bring your own food!! Views are incredible. Lots of wildlife.. sea lions, seals, and sea otters. Lots of birds too!! Couldn’t ask for a better location. Decorating is beachy. Just too many great things to say about this property. We will be back!!!

Terrific Spot for Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Brook's was a fantastic location nestled on a quiet San Simeon street near Pico Cove. The main room has a spectacular view, and we saw whales, dolphins, birds, surfers playing in the ocean regularly. Even on foggy days, the sound and colors of nature was SO relaxing! Inside there is a strong nautical theme decorating every room but furnishing and kitchenware made for a comfortable stay. Breen Vacation was responsive (sliding door didn't lock) and the other neighbors at this building were very kind. I truly enjoyed daily beach walks, visiting elephant seals, sighting Hearts zebras, Paso Robles Sensorio Light Show, and Cambria farmers market throughout the month. I fully recommend this property and hope to return in the future.
