"This was amazing! The location was great, close to several amenities, excellent restaurants and bars, convenient store and a walking distance to a super market (HiperDino). Right by the beach, and beautiful walking trails! The highlight of the this place was the staff, Kathy and her team, were beyond amazing! Those ladies sure make a great stay feel phenomenal and incredible! We will be back next year and if they have availability during our dates we will be staying with them for sure!! Thank you Kathy and team! Your phenomenal service, communication and relationship building along with professionalism and authentic approach made the difference! "We visited this property from the USA for a family vacation (family of five with three kids under 12). The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was what you would expect from a large resort. Plenty of options: some of it good, some of it not so good. The hotel has two large pools and plenty of activities for adults and kids. The views from the hotel (ocean and cliffs) are spectacular. Offsite activities on the island are very good. I would recommend taking at least one or two excursions. We did a boat tour, water park trip, and star gazing excursion, all of which were excellent. The stargazing tour, in particular, I would highly recommend. We rented a car for the trip, which I would not recommend. Shuttles and taxis are a better way to go. One minor downside is that this hotel is not beachside. The beach is walking distance, but the walk is down a very steep hill. The beach, however, is gorgeous and worth the walk. All in all, I would definitely recommend this resort to a family from the USA. The resort is akin to what you would find in Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Aruba, etc., but the surrounding area is much more accessible and fun to explore. "

"Have been going to Ona El Marques for a number of years now. Lovely complex and have recently had some refurbishments such as new restaurant and reception area. Gives the complex a much fresher and modern look. The apartments are nice but are in need up some updating,especially the bathrooms, would be nice to have walk in shower. However we thoroughly enjoy our stay each year. "
