"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. "This was an absolute highlight of our trip. The castle is beautiful and incredibly well kept. The proprietor visited our table one morning, at the beautiful breakfast they offered, and gave us some fantastic history of the property and the upgrades she has made to the castle and the grounds. "Simply the most relaxing situation one could imagine. Just a perfect blend of nature, farm edges (e.g. not a resort) but unreal food/wine. Just hanging out by the pool all day or walking vineyards or simply just "being" while the Tuscan sun rejuvenates your soul. It was a fantastic couple of days that was restorative and memorable."

"Wonderful location!!! Everything within walking distance. Friendly staff, clean modern room. Shower needs repairing. Will definitely return to stay here. If you are driving to the hotel, It’s a ZTL zone so contact the hotel to make arrangements for your car to be garaged. Don’t need a car here. It is in the best location!!!"

"Staff was very proficient in English for the most part, with excellent communication and professional in service through and through. Restaurant on site was elegant with good variety of menu items, though a little pricey as expected. Quality of food was above average but not excellent as expected. Drive to this monastery was fairly easy with surrounding village somewhat accommodating in amenities and conveniences. Keep in mind you would need a car throughout your stay here. Siena is 10 minutes away by car, a must see for at least one day. "

"Beautiful hotel and awesome location. Hotel is located at the edge of Siena central city. An easy walk to the city with the added benefit of being in a quiet location. We loved Siena! The grounds were beautiful as was the hotel and room. The room was a spacious apartment with a large bedroom full of windows overlooking the beautiful grounds. Also,a comfortable king bed with an attached living room and kitchen. We cooked in our room one night with the supplies from the large grocery store a short walk from the hotel. Dishes, utensils and cooking pans supplied in the room. The train and bus terminal were a short walk from the hotel for easy connections to other areas. We loved this hotel so much we extended our stay an extra day. "
