Family Stay in San Pedro
The owner of the place is very helpful in organizing the trips as he himself is the organizer of the sky-watching tours. He is very happy to assist to give advice, so the stay is as pleasant as possible. This was the case with my visit. In addition, the experience facilitates understanding the way of life in the area as in fact one feels like staying with the family, as there is only 4 rooms managed.

The owners of Casa Sirius were wonderful people, and I'm thankful for their hospitality. Normally I wouldn't leave a bad review for a family run establishment, especially as lovely as this family, but the other reviews felt so misleading that I thought I would share my POV. If I were only using this hostel for sleep, the price would make it worth it. Unfortunately I got food poisoning (potentially from the breakfast but can't be sure), and had to spend my entire time in San Pedro trapped in my barren room. The bathroom window looked into the courtyard and was missing some pains of glass, making is awkward to go cause I was sick. There were no fans or air conditioning, and my only window was next to the family's door so I was kept up till late with noises from them and their dogs. There was only beds and a fridge, and I wasn't allowed to put my luggage on the beds. It was as far away from town as could be (25-30min walk on mostly dirt roads), which made it hard to get supplies to feel better. This is a good accommodation if you're on an extreme budget because San Pedro is very expensive, but I regret not spending more money for something a little nicer.

Excelente atendimento e excelente localização
Minha esposa, Júlia, e eu ficamos hospedados aqui em nossa lua de mel e foi incrível. Tote e sua família nos atenderam super bem, o local é extremamente bem cuidado e muito bem organizado. Tote nos ajudou com os passeios e quando precisamos nos buscou e levou ao centro da cidade na rua principal para almoçar, jantar ou ir/volta de algum passeio. Além de um excelente anfitrião ele é uma pessoa muito cuidadosa com seus hóspedes e fez com que nossa estadia aqui fosse incrível.

Excellent séjour
Séjour très agréable chez Tote qui parle très bien français. L’hôtel est un peu excentré (20 minutes à pieds) mais Tote propose aussi de nous y emmener en voiture. Spécialiste des étoiles, il propose aussi ses propres excursions dont celle sur l’astronomie, actuelle et andine, dans le désert.

Buscábamos bien servicio al mejor precio posible y, tanto Deysi como Tote, hicieron que el servicio sea excelente. Por un accidente requerimos asistencia médica y ellos nos ayudaron con traslados, muletas, etc.

Zweite Bewertung, da wir nach unserem Uyuni-Trip wieder zurück kamen. In Ergänzung zum vorigen Eintrag: Frühstück inklusive und basic aber gut. Klare Empfehlung, wenn man eine einfache, sauber, gute Unterkunft mit nettem Gastgeber sucht und kein Problem hat, ein Stück zu laufen.

Die Wohnung liegt nördlich und ca. 20 Minunten vom Zentrum entfernt. Das muss man wissen und laufen können/wollen. Ist das der Fall, ist es eine super Unterkunft. Tote ist der Inhaber und bietet neben seiner Wohnung 4 Gästewohnungen mit gemeinsamter Terasse. Es ist alles einfach, aber sauber und gut. Tote ist ein toller Gastergeber und seine Hunde haben uns auf Ausflügen auch gerne begleitet. Würden wir wieder buchen - haben wir sogar!
