"We appreciated the location of this property. Quick trip to Samara or Playa Carrillo beach, markets and restaurants. After a day in town shopping, playing at the beach 4 minutes back to the property for a swim in the pool, a game of pool or eee also liked playing Yahtzee up in the outside loft area. We spent every night watching spectacular lightning shows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and regret not booking a longer stay!"

"Luna Azul was the perfect base of operations for our vacation. We absolutely loved the remote and peaceful atmosphere, and especially the incredible views. Days spent at the house around the pool were a great way to relax and unwind. The location was also ideal for exploring the Nicoya peninsula. We enjoyed a coffee plantation tour, horseback riding, surfing at several of the nearby beaches, and touring the small beach towns. "One week before arrival i replied to the emails send by vacasa/vrbo; 3 emails to ask for local persons contact. Did not receive any reply on the emails. So we had to wait by the gate. Had to call to vacasa USA, several calls, a mess. Once entered the property, big was the surprise when we saw the walls full of dirty traces in all chambers! Oxidation from the fans made a complete mess. Bedsheets, walls, all full of sprinkled oxidation. Also only 1 towel per person for the whole stay (4days!)...

"We stayed for four nights and it was very hard to leave! The views from the house are stunning and the pool is great. The drive up the gravel road to the house is steep but not bad once you get used to it. Carrillo beach at the bottom of the hill is amazing for swimming and chilling and if you want more action Samara is about a ten minute drive up the coast. Roberto was great. Gave us some good restaurant recommendations and really helped us out by delivering some charcoal for the grill just...
