"We were a group of 9 adults aged 28+. The check in process was easy and communicating with the hosts was quick and clear. The place is even more beautiful than the pictures show. The hosts have 3 beautiful dogs. One of the dogs, Lily, is very comfortable around guests and super friendly. The AC was much needed during our time as we had a heat wave the week we were staying, the temperature was 38°C and more whilst we were there. The pool was perfect for those extremely hot days. "The house is lovely with a great pool and a beautiful garden. House is well equipped. Location is a bit remote so car is a MUST as nearest town is 11km, 20 min by car. Nearest beach is 25 minutes drive. Overall though as long as you plan your food shopping well the house will provide a very comfortable stay"

The worst. I travelled 90% of countries.

"Was closed, owner showed up 30 min late, no check in instructions, was yelling on the phone right under our window till 10. No hot water, rooms are not as on pictures, error saying 4 people can stay in one bed in the listing, it wouldn’t be showing in search at all. No baby cribs, it’s just pictures. Fridge is not plugged in. No kettle or any warm water available and no one in the whole building. Mattress smells and has no protector. I only stayed because was late after 8 hours and it was closest. Next time will definitely read reviews as they all are true. Owner doesn’t care and is rude. He texted at 9 am “check out is at 10” that’s all. Didn’t bother nothing. I hope it gets shut down by health authorities. "

Incredible property

"Great ambience. Property was excellent and exceptionally clean. Rooms were impeccable with natural (no chemical smells) fragrances. Service was excellent at all times of the day and food was incredible. Pool was amazing to swim in however the only there were a lot of flies when using sunbathing recliners. Perhaps some fly traps would be useful to minimize this. "

"The perfect place to stay - perfect room, perfect large, hot shower, perfect food, perfect hospitality for a perfect price !!!!! Bellisimo - Bellisimo - Bellisimo !!!!! Sometimes bigger hotel can have kind of cold staff - the folks at Villa San Mauro are like the perfect family - they were awesome !!!!"
