"We enjoyed our stay in Ascea, a beautiful area with a stunning beach nearby! However, we were disappointed to find that the balcony view in the listing was not accurate. Additionally, we were not informed that essentials like toilet paper, sponge and daily necessities were not provided, which caused some inconvenience. We also experienced issues with the bathroom lock (got locked inside of the bathroom for 25mins) despite all our efforts to open from inside and outside, and the lack of air conditioning made it challenging to sleep during the hot summer nights, or during the day especially with young children. Despite these issues, Ascea is a lovely destination, and with some improvements, this place could be even more enjoyable for future guests"

"I'm reluctant to review our experience to keep this magical place to ourselves, and for fear that it will change. Nicole, Luigi, Guisepi, Michelo, and the rest of the staff/family including Noah the dog, made our stay at Il Cefalo truly enchanting. We coincided with the Festa della Bruna, which took place at the small village church which is only 50 meters away creating the perfect vantage point to take in the festivities ending with the most spectacular fireworks we've ever seen. We loved our stay, the wonderful variety of delicious food, the incredible views, and again, the impeccable service. We very much look forward to being back with our friends at Il Cefalo very soon. Assunta stayed on the phone with us until we got to the hotel safely since we got lost. She was so, so, so amazing! Seriously, the location and the view were spectacular."
