"The property is an easy drive from Florence , located in beautiful surroundings with the rolling hills of Tuscany all around. We were able to explore Siena & multiple small centuries old towns. A car is a must here to go anywhere including Impruneta.The lodging is ample size for a family of 4 or 5. Loved that Mattia has a washer available for laundry. Mattia was a great host , made wonderful suggestions on places to go & was super easy to work with. Would recommend. Teri W from KY USA"

As others have said, to get to it, you need to drive down a bit of bumpy dirt road (so having a SUV would be a wise choice), but once you get there l, the pure serenity and peacefulness of the Tuscan hills await you. "The apartment is at the heart of the small village, central to several great restaurants and practically across the street from the incredible 11th century abbey. The place was very clean and has been recently renovated, but still had a very historic feel to it. Emanuel, our host, was very friendly and gracious. He offered several personal recommendations to restaurants and a wine tasting at a nearby castle, all of which were great! Would definitely stay here again!"

"The best thing is the location, and the accommodations were good. Having read the reviews we knew what to expect and were not surprised. The downsides were mainly the six flights of stairs and the fact that the bathroom is shared. Antonio was accommodating and offered good advice about what to see and where to eat. A couple things that could be done easily to improve the stay for guests would be to provide some closet and/or drawer space and to have a clear place in the bathroom for a guest...

"Staff were great on reception. Property was neat and tidy and the park was all very clean and well maintained. Everything on site cost extra and a lot. For example half a loo roll provided and they wouldn’t replace and it cost €8 in their shop. Location was good just out of city and there is a bus stop right outside. Not properties fault of course, but buses very irregular so a lot of time spent waiting around for one to show up. Lovely walk into city along river though and took around 1hr."
