"We stayed at the Ninfa Hotel at the end of November for a couple of nights. The staff here are engaging and dedicated, a very friendly and accommodating welcome. We had a guided tour of the facilities which are recently renovated and upgraded and it is all highly impressive. I recommend trying the restaurant - the food and attention to detail is superb. The inclusive breakfast provides choice and enough to set you up well for the day ahead. I cannot fault the experience, just wish we had stayed...

"The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to. "we had a hard time getting into the building. problem with the deposit or something that we were not aware of. took some time to resolve. after that was settled, things were fine."

"Wonderful find for a one night stay. Pros were the pool and pool area, close to. Lucca proper, clean and large room, and excellent air conditioning. Cons were that there was no breakfast even though they're listed as a B&B, no room safe and a shower that worked well. But even with these minor cons, I would totally stay again. Yes the rooms are older but no matter. The staff were excellent, bed was comfy and did I mention how much I loved the pool!? Thank you for a great stay. "

"Per quanto riguarda il cibo a colazione c’è varietà ma poca attenzione per gli intolleranti o senza glutine .pranzo e cena non è un gran che La struttura non ha aria condizionata. Ci sono cimici che entrano in camera e le trovi ovunque. La spiaggia ha un bar ma non offre colazioni o pranzi e gli orari di apertura e chiusura sono scomodi apre alle 9 e chiude alle 19. Non offrono divertimento , non c’è musica . Bagno non adatto a giovani "

"We loved everything about Relais San Lorenzo. Daniela is a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble. The building is beautiful and dates from the 17th century, but everything is in top condition and works really well. The location is absolutely perfect. Very highly recommended. This was our first time in Lucca and we loved the city. We hope to return and will definitely stay in Relais San Lorenzo again!"

"The hotel was good and the location was excellent, a few minutes away from the tower. I arrived at 1plus pm, however it was closed and had to wait till 3pm to be checked in. The checked in was smooth and the staff was great. It would be great if the reception is open from 1pm to 3pm. The room was big and great, however O only have one complaint, the tv was ridiculously small to my liking. Overall my stay was excellent!"
