"This property is so so beautiful. You’re completely surrounded by lush plants and trees and just submerged in nature. The rooms are so cute, comfortable and have an open nature feel. I stayed in the mango, luxury room which is perfect for a couple or solo traveler. They have breakfast and dinner available on site to order. During the day you obviously have to go off site to hydrate and eat. Housekeeping was nice to keep your room nice and tidy. The staff was nice and patient if you do not speak...

Welcome to Rio Tarcoles, where tourists stop to view these ancient dinosaurs. I've heard a few stories about this place, one being that locals sometimes toss live chickens off the bridge to put on a "show". I also read somewhere that a drunk man was bet $20 to swim across the river...and he did, but didn't quite make it. If you are at all amazed by crocodiles, this place is crazy cool. I've been here a couple of times and still get excited by the number of crocs there are. Once in awhile you'll see a stork slowly walk up to a croc, almost as if he's doing a dare, and the croc will slowly swim towards him. You get your camera ready waiting for something to go down.
