"We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. "There’s an inviting photo of a hot tub at advertisement, was so looking forward to it, no where to be found. It’s an expensive space that feels cold & uncared for, nicks and black scruff marks in bedroom, empty walls. Small shower without door brings cold air in as you wash, drain comes undone as you move around washing, it was packed with slimy hair, and there’s a window in the small bathroom that opens to the hallway, opposite the toilet, whether open or not, your toilet noise can be heard in...

"The town is tiny. Not much for competition which means nobody needs to excel or go out of their way for you. We experienced this at times but not at La Plaza. Very helpful and great advice. Also.... Salvatore and his son Marco can rent you boats. We did it and enjoyed our freedom swimming where we pleased!"

"The view is incredible!! Fantastic location which is easily walkable to all main spots. Staff helpful and friendly. The apartment is very rustic with loads of charm however it’s very old and in need of updating. Bed really uncomfortable, very basic kitchen. Step climb to the top apartments so if your elderly or have issues walking probably not the place for you. No parking on site but the staff kindly showed us where to park nearby. "
