The Olives Holiday Home

An extraordinary villa, large south facing pool, large mature garden, free air-conditioning, amazing terrace with country and sea views.

Situated in the western and most rural part of Gozo, the villa offers the client exceptional facilities difficult to better on the island. With a footprint of 10,000 square feet (over 1000 square meters) including pool area and gardens, its design, layout and the quality of its furnishing, places this property at the top end of the local holiday rental scene.

The house has been designed to best exploit the spectacular views around the pool, this wonderful outside space is completed by the added feature of a BBQ prepared and ready for use.

Its décor and furnishings are top of the range, functional and comfortable for the visitor, the ground floor consists of a large living space with adjoining open plan kitchen/dining area, leading onto the pool/garden areas. This floor is the completed with access to a bedroom with ensuite facilities.

The south westerly facing terrace on the first floor allows for spectacular views especially at sunsets, which has to be experienced. With the terrace being accessible directly from the master bedroom as well as from a common hallway. This floor also has access to two bedrooms both with ensuite facilities. This accommodation is truly a one off amazing property allowing for a wonderful holiday experience all year round.

Additional services:

Included in this accommodation: All beds will be prepared with the appropriate bed linen, along with extra blankets in the wardrobes should you need further layers. In addition to this, you will also be provided with 2 towels per person – which will be placed on the beds ready for use.

We will also provide all bookings with 1x dishwasher tablet and 1x washing machine tablet per night of your stay.

Maid service is included when you book for 8 nights or more.

Land in Malta International Airport and than ferry crossing to Gozo. We can offer Car Hire and/or Direct Transfers from Airport to property after making the booking by completing our flight arrival and departure details form.

San Lawrenz is a small quiet village situated in the west of the island of Gozo. The village is built upon a flat surface surrounded by three hills - Ta' Ghammar, Ta' Gelmus and Ta' Dbiegi. San Lawrenz have one of the most famous bays in Gozo, Dwejra Bay. There is also a restaurant in Dwejra that serves lunch and dinner. For a fine dining experience you can also visit 5-star Kempinski Hotel, 1.3km away from the property.
Near the local food store (Lighthouse Supermarket - Gharb), one finds the Crafts Village which consists of a café along with several unique shops. The city of Victoria is 3.5 km from the property and here you can enjoy the rich history from the knight’s time while unwinding in one of the coffee shops you can find whilst you explore.

A mandatory fully refundable security deposit will be temporary held from a valid debit/credit card as follows:

€ 200 for up to 6 adults and
€ 400 from 7 adults and up for properties with private pool

This amount is needed to cover for the following:

Any damages (excluding normal tear and wear)
Any missing items from the property
Any excessive noise that can create a nuisance to neighbours.

This amount will be temporary blocked from the card provided when prompted by our automated email system, and released automatically within 3-7 days of checkout. Baron Holiday Homes have 48 hours from checkout to report any damage or missing items to guest in writing.

Please respect your neighbours during holiday with us, may we remind you that any loud noise is not permitted at any time during your stay.

Kindly note that price does not includes Malta Eco Tax, payable by all tourists, including locals from the age of 18 and over; €0.50c per person for each night spent on the Maltese Islands. Capped at a maximum of €5 per person for each continuous stay.

Lovely Pool and Garden
The pool and garden area of the property were excellent. The water was always sparklingly clear indicating it was well maintained. The garden was attractive and provided a secluded and private setting for bathing. There were plenty of sunbeds and a good sized table and chairs for dining outdoors. Good outdoor lighting was available for evenings on the patio. Inside the open plan living area was spacious with comfortable seating and a good dining area. The modern kitchen was well equipped and clean and tidy. The air conditioning throughout the property was efficient in keeping rooms cool. The bedrooms were large and airy with appropriate storage. Unfortunately we found the beds hard and the pillows uncomfortable, either too hard or very flat. The bathrooms were well designed, clean and pleasant . The organisation of the rental was friendly and efficient, and there was always someone to answer the phone and assist if we needed help. The location of the villa was quiet and village very attractive. Lovely sea views from the large upstairs balcony and superb sunsets.

Das Ferienhaus ist wunderschön, wir haben zu 8 (4 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder) eine wunderschöne Woche verbracht. Es ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt abgelegen und ist entsprechend sehr ruhig. Für alle, die einen geruhsamen Urlaub bevorzugen, ist dieses Haus ein Traum. Donald, der Betreuer, ist kompetent, sehr nett und stets hilfsbereit, so wie alle anderen Ansprechpartner, mit denen wir zu tun hatten. Wir bekamen bei Bedarf sofort Unterstützung. Wir können The Olives nur weiterempfehlen.

Schönes geräumiges Haus mit großem Pool
Es ist ein sehr schönes und geräumiges Haus. Alles ist gepflegt und es ist alles an Equipment zum Kochen da. Alle Zimmer haben ein eigenes Bad. Zum Haus gehört auch ein eigener großer Pool. Der Service war erstklassig und uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist in einer ruhigen Lage mit sehr schöner Aussicht auf das Meer. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub und werden auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.
