Liked: Cleanliness
A nice place
I stayed with my GF and her two teenage boys.
The Good: Communication was good and questions were answered promptly. The beach is at your doorstep. Lots of good stuff in the kitchen. I liked the dual dishwashers: teenage boys eat constantly so we were constantly doing dishes. I also liked the wheeled grocery cart for my frequent walks to the grocery store.
What Could Have Been Better: The pool. The listing was upfront about the pool being out of service, so we knew it going in. There's a hotel next door with a pool you can use, but you can't just walk over and pay a fee: you have to reserve a spot online and day passes were always sold out. There were packages available but you had to buy $200 (or more) in food/drinks and an adult had to be present, so you couldn't send the teens next door by themselves. Plan ahead and reserve a pool spot as soon as possible since they go fast. We ended up doing alternative activities - and there were many: a banana boat and parasailing were right on the beach.
While the condo itself is in great shape, the building it is in could use some work. The hallways could use some paint and there were dings in the wall. Personally, I didn't care but my GF didn't like it.
I'd be inclined to stay again, but it would hinge on the pool being available. We did adapt and there's other things to do. The host was upfront about it being out of order, so we have no cause for complaint, but I don't think we appreciated how much we missed it.
