GREAT LOCATION ONLY!!! DIRTY UNKEPT PROPERTY!!
I came to San Juan, Puerto Rico for my Birthday weekend.
Arrived at the location and was in total shock. The building was old and unkept from the outside. Big red flag. Parking space was tight, debris and water were falling onto car once parked. Tried to access the elevators that were down for hours, however, we did use the stairs. Once inside the property it smelled like mold and was not cleaned. It seemed like someone had just left and did not clean up behind themselves. Tables in living room that had mirrors on them were dirty, the kitchen stove was dirty and had paper and straws on the counter. The bathroom had a small piece of soap in the shower floor and bubbles like it was recently used. To top it off the toilet was used and not flushed. Made contact with the owner about the cleanliness of property and she stated that she had a new cleaner and was on the west coast of the U.S. I didn't care about her whereabouts; however, the property should have been cleaned considering I booked it, and she knew I would be present. She sorts of laughed it off which was weird and insisted that her cleaner did clean the property. I have pictures to clearly prove different. We were out a lot due to the overwhelming smell of mold in this property, but the location is key to beach access and nightlife. I would love to return and stay at a Marriott resort or something similar but never this location. Pictures are not what the property look like.
