This was an amazing house. To wake up with a view all the way from the rainforest to the ocean every morning was unreal. The host was great leading up to and during our trip with quick responses anytime we had questions. The house was clean with room for 8 of us with a well stocked kitchen for us to cook in. We didn't have little ones with us, but there were was a crib if you had a baby with you. The pool was wonderful and the neighborhood was extremely safe an quite. I would go back to this house over and over again.

Outdated and unkept
The property was dated and not clean. The best part of the house was the Mountain View’s and the pool which was not cleaned when we checked in. We checked in on a Wednesday and the pool was cleaned on Friday. The inside of the house was a disaster. This was not a great experience as a family celebrating family birthdays. The kitchen did not have a stove it was dated and not clean. For a property it had lack of essentials barely enough towels. The house had 1 spoon. We went out and bought paper products to use. The absolute worst was the trash cans were not emptied and full of maggots. What house does not even have toilet paper holders in any of the bathrooms. I could continue however it just reminds me of a terrible experience. This was rated a 10/10 so i do not believe the reviews that were provided. Disappointed to say the least.

The views in the backyard are amazing!!!
Duration: My family (8 adults and 1 kid) stayed at this property for 4 nights. Check in: This property is located in a gated community, so you will need to check in with the security guard when entering and leaving the premises. This was not an issue for us as all we needed to do was provide the name of the street name and address number. Pros: - As I noted in the title, the views of the mountains and ocean at this property are amazing. You will not be disappointed. - The pool has some issues but was mostly enjoyable. - For the most part, the property is clean, and every room had AC. - Wifi was strong and reliable, the house also comes with TVs and streaming apps, although my family and I barely used them. Cons: - The pool's filter didn't seem like it was working which resulted in a lot more bugs to appear when we tried to swim. The pool did have a skimmer to pick up the larger bugs, but not the smaller ones. Was not a major issue as we still used the pool and enjoyed our time in it. - The refrigerator when we were there was leaking, but the host said she will fix it. - The propane tank was empty when we arrived. We had to refill the tank ourselves, but the host did reimburse us for the costs. Things to Consider: - The neighborhood does have a noise curfew after 9pm (no loud music outside). This was not an issue for my family as we just turned down the music when in the pool after 9pm but this property might not be the best fit for large groups looking to party.

It’s a beautiful place to stay the house has everything you need the only thing that we experienced was the power that went off but everything was taken care of by the hostess we had a great time

The owner was available whenever I needed to communicate with her, she gave me locations of places to go when I told her I needed to find a Walmart. House was gorgeous! And clean!

The best views, heaven in a home!
Our stay at Hacienda Margarita was amazing. Josefina's home was clean, spacious and literally perfect. The views were amazing and everything is exactly as pictured. It was located 13 mins from Luquillo Beach and not to mention near some amazing Kiosks to eat from. It was so hard to not stay in the home the entire trip. The community neighborhood was quiet but there were no complaints when my party of 7 got a little loud. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to soak up a good view and a good time. Thank you again Josephina for allowing us into your home and God willing we will be booking again soon!

2020 Vacation
Overall it was a good experience. The pool was on the fritz, however the owner was informed and tried to have it fixed. Things happen, light went out twice, however that is normal here, but I thought that there should be a backup generator since it is a common issue in Puerto Rico. I enjoyed my stay, I relaxed and unwinded. Issues here and there, but it was ok.
