Wake up every day to a blue beachfront view at Villa Alma Marina (VAM). Our beautiful childhood home was fully remodeled and completed in January 2020 after being impacted by Hurricane Maria back in 2017, and it is kept updated to provide the best experience to our guests. Every area of our home has been strategically designed and carefully equipped with the highest quality products and decorations from local diverse artists from around the world. Once you arrive at Villa Alma Marina you will experience why our home was voted as the most beautiful villa in the neighborhood!

We care about our guests!
As part of your experience, we have available board games, beach-ware equipment, sports balls, a hammock with beach views, an AC unit in every room, and local consumer products available to our guests to make your vacation an amazing one. Please let us know so we can guide you to the right entertainment. Also, our unique location is a minute's walk to various swimming beaches for your family and/or friends' enjoyment.

Alma Marina, which means “ocean soul” stands by its own name. It transmits the peace, breezy, and connection of nature that the beautiful ocean water from the north of Puerto Rico provides.

Where you will be staying?
VAM is a three-level townhouse with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. You’ll be amazed by the well-thought amenities and beautiful details that our home provides from local artists and women-owned businesses.

Villa Alma Marina can host 7 people comfortably between 2 queen beds and 1 full and a twin bed size bunk bed. Includes Internet wireless, A/C unit in every room, TV with Netflix and movies, beach items such as seats, cooler, and towels, a stainless steel BBQ, a hammock facing the ocean view, and board games for entertainment. There’s a community pool, and a park for kids to play inside the premises. Keeping the property, families, and guests safe from harm, there is an outdoor home security camera and security personnel available 24/7.

Amazing trip to Puerto Rico!
Our trip was amazing! It is our third and best trip to Puerto Rico! The condo was great in everything: layout, quality, price, location to town and to the beach. Inaru is a great manager!

Perfect for spring break
The property was perfect for a spring break getaway with our kids. The house was very clean and comfortable. The location is great- within walking distance of the beach, a pool, a playground, and a variety of restaurants.

Great beach stay
Stayed in this Dorado walkup for 4 nights w multigenerational family. Property was well equipped and clean. Beach in front is ok but the public beach (balneario) 5 min walk is truly beautiful and better. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Manager was attentive and responsive.

We stayed for a week. The property was wonderful- clean, quiet and very well stocked. We liked the pool and having access to the great beaches. Inarú couldn’t have been more helpful- she always got right back to us and answered all questions no matter how silly! Thanks for a great week!

Excellent place for relaxation!
Exactly as pictured! Great location with beautiful ocean view. Host was accessible with quick response. Permanent neighbors are friendly. It’s perfect for family with kids of all ages. The area is gated which makes it super safe for young kids. Easy walk to beach. Overall it was an excellent place for relaxation!

Thanksgiving getaway
Excellent stay! Walking distance to the beach. Calm neighborhood. Many ammenities. Narrow stairs ti the second and third floor, whichnwas no problem for us, but could be an issue with older guests or those with mobility difficulties. Very clean and comfortable. Totally recommend it and will probably book again. Super easy check in and out process and very good communication with property manager.

Nice , modern and clean ,but very very small beach
The condo was clean and newly remodeled. The pool was nice and Inaru was very attentive to everything including the unfortunate leak in the extra water tank. Unfortunately the beach was very very small and we have to drive to a different one down the street. Also, we had to pay for a gym 30 minutes away because a gym was listed as one of the amenities,but there wasn't one. The location was not ideal. We had about 30- 45 minute drive to everything except the grocery store. Very quiet and the locals were very kind.

Beautiful home away from home!
It is an excellent Villa with amazing location - 2 min walking to the beach, 5 min away from restaurants, grocery stores, cvs,etc. The host went above and beyond to ensure you would feel welcomed and at home. Small thoughtful touches include kitchen sticker with dressings, coffee, teas, water; bathrooms had toothpaste and cotton pads. So many great recommendations on restaurants and activities. Highly recommend staying at the Villa and enjoying the art work there. Many works are from local artists.

A wonderful stay
Our stay for 2 weeks at Villa Alma Marina were exactly as described, and pretty much in line with many of the previous comments from past guests. Janelle was an outstanding host, providing us all that we needed for a super vacation. For our family, the villa was well located. You could choose the well maintained pool, or take a long stroll on the local beach. I loved that we were not that far from old San Juan and the airport. (35-40 minutes) The villa had all that we needed, and plenty of space for a very relaxing vacation. Restaurants, the supermarket and other stores are a quick drive, with lots of choice. We chose local cuisine, and there are plenty of options. Overall, as stated, a wonderful stay.

Amazing Stay!
We had such a good time hanging out on the porch and spent a great deal of time sight-seeing and enjoying our family vacation. So, we were really only in the town house to sleep and during beach time. We are a family of 7 with 4 Daughters and a Son ranging in age from 10-21 yrs olds. Everyone was super comfortable in the beds and air conditioning worked great throughout the home. There are a good amount of stairs but I loved the needed exercise. Inarú, was very responsive always and made sure we had what we needed. It was a great time and we will definitely stay again and recommend.

Great location
This is a 3 story condo which I did not realize when I booked it. The outside doesnt look as nice as the pictures but the inside is immaculate. Yes! There are a lot of rules but most of them are common sense ones like not sitting on the couch with wet clothers. The manager communicated consistently with me. The area is very safe and the beach across the street is beautiful and very popular.

Perfect island vacation for family with toddlers
The booking process was easy and from the beginning our host did everything to make us feel welcome and let us know how the house could accommodate our toddler. The house rules were supplied in advance, information on local restaurants and groceries too. Checkin was easy. Lockbox and clear videos supplied made it all easy! The beach was about 300 yards from our front door and the cove provided a great calm beach that our almost 2 could enjoy beach and water play. Wish the playground unlocked before 9am for when we were tryi mg to occupy the little one so her parents could sleep in but the fountain path provided a good distraction.

Wonderful Villa!
We loved this villa. The checkin was easy and really nice as we were greeted by the property manager. We didn’t use the kitchen, however it was fully equipped. We were happy to find beach chairs, a cooler to take along with us on our excursions and plenty of house and beach towels. The neighborhood is safe, secure and quiet. The loudest neighbors were a nest of pigeons…LOL! We loved the birds singing in the morning. The beds were comfy. EVERYTHING was very clean! Cleanliness is super important to us! Modern and sleek. We would definitely stay here again and are already sharing the property with family and friends for their vacations!

Don’t forget the key!!
Great spot, clean and well furnished just as the listing describes. I had read others notes about security but wasn’t clear on what it all meant. There are very good instructions for initial checkin and house manager is very helpful. Just be prepared with patience to follow all the steps in correct order. But once there be prepared to travel as a group for the entire stay. You need a key to leave property and a key to return. A key to enter pool and a key to leave pool. There is one key. We were six adults and didn’t always want to come and go like children going on a field trip. That is my only complaint for an otherwise lovely property but it likely means I won’t return.

Wonderful Getaway!
There were 4 of us - myself, my friend and our 2 daughters (19 & 20 years old). The house was so nice! Plenty of room for all of us - each mom had a room to themselves and the girls shared the room wiht bunk beds. The house was exactly as pictured - very updated and well appointed and had just about everything we needed! Beds were super comfy and the development itself was adorable. Terrific pool and 2 minute walk across the street to the beach area! Loved that the house was in a gated community - felt VERY safe!! Neighborhood had good options for restaurants. The VRBO host and the property manager were AMAZING in terms of answering questions, providing recommendations, etc. Simply terrific. Only downside was needing a car to get any/everywhere and there is only 1 entrance/exit to the development that is quite a ways from the house. Also - no dishwasher :)

Great place away from San Juan near lovely beach, but a lot of rules!
A very nice unit that matched the pictures and description. Check in was a little complicated as there are multiple gates/security points to get through and we had trouble initially connecting with the host. But we eventually got in and the place was clean, well-stocked, and comfortable for our family. It's a short walk to a lovely, quiet beach area - we had wanted to avoid the crowds in San Juan so in this respect the place was great. Only downside is that there are a lot of rules and they are posted in every room of the unit. The condo complex also has extensive security that imposed additional rules - which makes you feel safe, which is a good thing, but it also makes it hard to fully relax. And some of the "rules" are quite arbitrary, e.g. a security guard came through and claimed that kids weren't allowed to jump into the pool, even though the posted signs clearly say nothing about this. Overall, mostly a good find and a nice stay, but the rules are a bit much!
