Less than a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the BEACH (that's 1 mile away!), and less than 1 mile to the famous nightlife of La Placita, Calle Loiza, downtown Santurce, Ocean Park, Isla Verde & Old San Juan. These vibrant colorful streets are filled with local art, murals and historic buildings dating from the 1500s. Less than 10 minutes from airport SJU! My family & I stayed here it was a group of 5 . They had everything we needed . Sunscreen , towels , water . Gave us complimentary Jell-O shots they were amazing along with a six pack of beer . Everything was very clean . The two rooms towards the back were very hot no AC units in them but we bought fans for both rooms & it was fine . Parking was alittle difficult to find but we made it work . Would definitely recommend anyone to book here . Can’t wait to come back . Everything was very close to us . 10/10 experience.

Getting real in San Juan, PR
The perfect place to land for our adventurous, long weekend! The colorful green house is super tidy, well appointed and just as cheerful as advertised. Centrally located to all of our activities (rainforest, beach and Old San Juan), it was a pleasure to be immersed in an area that was more genuine to experiencing Puerto Rico rather than a sterile resort area. Just a note for light sleepers - the house sits close to a busy city street and sometimes vehicles are not so quiet as they pass by so be prepared! A genuinely fantastic experience my sisters and I would be pleased to repeat.

Green Adventure
From the start of planning this trip for my family I called our trip the Green Adventure. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and I wanted for us to experience the culture and the locals. I’m glad I made the decision to choose this unique green house in the heart of the community. Upon arriving we were giving our check in information and it was clear to understand. The host left us a card showing their appreciation for us booking there. The house was clean and very colorful and Artsy. The house was about a 7 min drive to the beach, 12 mins from Old San Juan, 8 minutes from Walmart and a good amount of local spots walking distance. The outdoor shower is a must try and a great experience with the neighborhood music playing while showering. There’s a store right next door that sells food, liquor, and great people that we had a ball with. My family and I felt very safe there and we walked around the neighborhood several times as well and never felt unsafe. Parking was the only issue but not one where I wouldn’t come again. You do have to park on the side street and it tight you got to drive like a city driver. LoL! Last thing they had everything you need there from games to beach towel, cooler, even writing paper and pen. Stocked with all household items and kitchen supplies. This was definitely a Wonderful Green Adventure! Till Next Time! Thank you Ryan And Carrie

Great little local spot
The house was very clean when we arrived, it looked just like the photos, so cute inside! Everything we needed with a laminated printout of instructions for our whole stay and checkout (which I loved so you don’t have to be guessing). Messaged R&C a couple times and they got back to me in a timely manner. This house is on a super local street, you have the auto shop next door, the food truck on the other side and a little bodega type place that plays music the whole street jams too every evening! It’s definitely a vibe! I was worried the music was going to play all night but right about 10 pm the street goes quiet do everyone can sleep 😊 We easily took the bus to Old San Juan and the airport is only a $15 Uber. We rented a car and although there’s no parking at the residence, we never had to look very long to find parking on a side street. I felt safe here. I LOVE outdoor showers so the fact this place had one just sold us. There is a camera on the neighbors property and you can’t really tell if it points into the backyard but no biggie as we just put a towel over it for the whole trip.

Great home, everything as described
The home was great, very clean and as described. The 1/2 bath is an outdoor shower. Our own fault that we didn't read it better in the description, as we were 3 couples one bathroom to share was a challenge, but nothing to do with the home itself. We just didn't read that part! The owner was easy to chat with on access, the place was immaculate and clean, air conditioning worked excellent. My only suggestion to other guests is research the area to ensure it has the restaurants or bars you are looking for, though Uber is a fantastic option for getting around if you aren't finding the food or bars you are looking for in the neighborhood.

Good place to stay
Our stay in the home went well. There was an unexpected problem with the plumbing but the owners responded right away (their plumber was a great guy). The neighborhood is nice, with good coffee and ice cream shops walkable distances away. There was loud music in the evening but not late into the night. The house is so stocked as listed. I strongly recommend frequent use of the outdoor shower.

Love the color!
The whole family enjoyed our stay at this unique home. It was exactly as pictured and described. We really enjoyed the themed rooms, avocado and banana were a lot of fun. We are a picky family and we all thought the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect for our needs!
Travelled with myself and 2 other friends for a bachelor party, the location was perfect for our needs but I could see how it might not be for everyone. You are very much in a local neighborhood away from most of the major bars and restaurants but had plenty of local shops and convenience stores around to grab quick wares. Ubers are super cheap and everything was pretty close so honestly not a big deal at all. Never spent more than $8 or more than 15 minutes. The places itself was perfect for relaxing while still having some privacy (the hammock in the morning was perfect haha)

Puerto Rico family vacation
The house was very clean and well stocked. All cooking utensils, flatware, dishes, and pans were all available to us. They were several other things that were available that we didn't know about that we ended up using quite a bit. There were 4 beach chairs , 5 beach towels, a volleyball, and an outdoor shower we used every single day of our stay, which was much appreciated. Street parking was a bit of a challenge. Bring your parallel parking skills, as the streets are very narrow and nearly every space in the neighborhood fills up by the end of the night. Carrie and Ryan were great hosts - very attentive and responsive. They also made some great restaurant recommendations. I would highly recommend La Casita Blanca, which is a short walk from the house.

Perfect Puerto Rican Getaway
The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and fully stocked! The lanai makes for perfect family pictures and the house has everything you could possibly need or want! Dishes, utensils, grill, beach chairs, bikes and more! The hosts were always available for local recommendations and easy to reach! Will absolutely stay again!

Perfect location, comfortable and well stocked
The house was very clean and comfortable. Having the privacy of a little patio out back was excellent for our group to visit and work. The house was set up like a home with even travel mugs and zip lock bags for use. There were also plenty of towels and even beach chairs for use. The owner left delicious coconut treats as a welcoming gesture and it was much appreciated. Overall it was an excellent experience and I will definitely stay again!

A REAL Puerto Rico Experience!
Sooo...let me say right off the bat, this place is AWESOME for those that are looking for a real Puerto Rico local experience! The home itself was PERFECT! Ryan and Carrie really have furnished this place for that "Home Away From Home" feel! The AC system worked great and kept the whole house nice and chilled. The decor and colors all over the house give you that Boriqua feel and you just feel that Puerto Rico vibe in the home. The bedrooms were nice & colorful, down to the bedspreads, with the banana's and guacamoles! Living room was perfect sitting area to watch a little TV or just sit around and enjoy family, food and drinks. The BIG plus for us was the kitchen...it had EVERYTHING we needed to prep and cook meals while we were there. The feelilng of being in a secured place was always there witht the gated areas to get into the home and the fencing around it, I'll get it to that a little more when I discuss location. The backyard was AWESOME spot to chill with the family, turn the grill on, let the bluetooth speaker plays some tunes and had some very nice spots to take pics. Whether you were sitting at the picnic table, standing against the back wall, swinging on the swings or hanging in the hammock, they were all definitely photo ops to take! Location was something most would be discouraged from but for us it was GREAT! You got to understand you are in a local neighborhood, with the LOCALS!! I walked around the neighborhood and people were all welcoming and nice. There a little tiendita, small store, across the street from the home and the lady who worked there, her name was Bienvenida, was welcoming everytime I went to get something from her. At night the street is busy with cars and motorcycles driving by, music going on a night and people talking & laughing as they enjoy the night, it was great! For those looking to sleep early, I would suggest ear plugs but those who want to get the full experience, go and enjoy with the locals. Going to San Juan was a short drive, we were there for a National wrestling meet and it was only a 10 min drive to the Puerto Rico Convention Center. You can easily get to the San Juan main attractions, bars, beaches, restaurants, breweries areas day or night! If we had any questions, Carrie and Ryan would answer quickly and get us the information we needed. Overall the home was exceptional for us for our stay near San Juan.

Our days in San Juan
This home was perfect for our family of 5! It was clean, well supplied, comfortable, and convenient to the places we frequented. We loved the home's lively and bright decor as well. Most of all kudos to our hosts Carrie and Ryan. Our flight was canceled on our departure date. Our hosts allowed us to reschedule our stay when we couldn't arrive until 3 days later. Upon leaving, our flight, and multiple times in 2 days, were delayed and canceled again. Our hosts again offered to open up their home again if needed. They were in constant contact when we needed them and very willing to help us.
