To ensure a healthy stay with us at Casa de Cooper, we have implemented the following safety precautions:

~ Our cleaning staff is being extra diligent in disinfecting the property – before guests arrive and after guests depart -- with particular attention to high touch items and hard surfaces. To allow the extra time needed for this enhanced cleaning protocol, we will ensure a minimum of 24 hours between reservations.

~ To limit non-essential contact between staff and guests, we have temporarily suspended our daily housekeeping service except in an emergency.

You’ll be wowed by the sweeping sea and valley views at Vista Paraiso. This two-story 3 bedroom, 4 bath luxury vacation rental is ideally located at the top of Pelican Eyes community overlooking the bay of San Juan del Sur.

Your stay at Vista Paraiso includes a bilingual meet & greet, personal concierge and daily housekeeping. Our maids will even do your dishes!

The Space

The villa is surrounded by a covered porch with sitting areas perfect for reading, napping or sipping a cocktail in the tropical breeze. Bring a book or two and quiet your mind in a lounger, rocking chair or hammock.

The private plunge pool is the perfect place for kids to splash the day away. Your Vista Paraiso vacation also includes access to the 2 community pools, which are open daily from 7 am until sundown.

There is a fully equipped kitchen complete with microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, espresso machine and unlimited coffee. The attached living room includes a flat screen TV and comfortable seating for 8. It’s the perfect place to enjoy some Netfilx after a day of exploring.

Each of the Vista Paraiso’s 3 bedrooms has a private entrance with terrace plus spacious ensuite bathrooms with hot water rainfall showers. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king beds. The third bedroom has two queen beds. Our quality mattresses, pillows and linens ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

While Vista Paraiso’s 3 bedrooms have space for 8 guests, a futon sofa bed in the living room means it can house up to 10 guests. Vista Paraiso can be rented along with other Casa de Cooper villas to accommodate a family reunion or milestone celebration with friends.

Guest Access

Your Vista Paraiso holiday includes access to the 2 Pelican Eyes community pools that are located a 5-minute walk from the villa and open daily from 7 am to sundown.

Cascada Club Restaurant & Bar is located on the lower level of the community. It is open Thursday to Sunday from noon to 10 pm.

Location

We are accessible from town on foot in 15 minutes for anyone with a good level of fitness. A 3-minute taxi ride to or from town makes the home ideal for all ages of guests at any fitness level.

Our central location provides easy access to the many in-town restaurants, bars, shops and nearby beaches.

The Augusto C Sandino International Airport in Managua is a 2.5 hour drive away. Alternately, you can fly into the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport in Liberia. With border crossing travel time is approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Other things to note

The last 300 meters of road to Casa de Cooper is uphill and unpaved. Extra care is required for guests arriving in low clearance vehicles and compact cars.

This property has an electricity allowance of 45 kilowatts per day. This is a sufficient amount to power the villa with responsible use of air conditioning in the bedrooms. Electricity consumption over this amount will be charged at a rate of $0.50 USD per kilowatt hour.

We are pet friendly and allow one (1) well behaved dog providing it weighs 20 lbs or less. Pets must be registered at the time of booking.

Perfect family vacation
Casa Cooper is an amazing place. The views , comfort, decor, weather, laid back town and beaches made our Holiday outstanding. My favorite times were awakening to the spectacular setting from the many outdoor spaces and the sunsets from the front balcony. The owner George is so very friendly and accommodating. Nicaragua is the perfect getaway .

Perfect location and amazing views!
We went to Nicaragua for a week and visited Managua, Montelimar and San Juan del Sur. We stayed in San Juan del Sur for three nights. Our stay here at Casa de Cooper was by far the best. The location was perfect, just minutes from the beach. The villa was beautiful and the views were amazing. It was great that each of the three rooms had its own porch and separate entrance. The property manager, Gabriel, was was very accommodating, helpful and genuinely a nice person. The housekeepers were helpful and kind as well. They cleaned the villa daily and also did the dishes. This is a great place to stay for a family vacation. We had a wonderful experience at Casa de Cooper and would stay here again!

Nice villa on the mountain
We had a really good time at Casa De Cooper. The house is one house on the perimeter of a larger resort (Pelican Eyes) which is independently run by Mr. Cooper, who lives in the bottom of the 3 unit building. He was very accomodating, let us have our privacy, but was there to answer any questions if we had them. Not the greatest place if you are trying to go insane and party (we were partying at a medium level which was fine). Great experience overall.

Overall the house it’s beautiful I would definitely come back, there’s some stuff they need to fix like the AC in the Master room it looks like it was broke down cause the room was hot, and the small room thr AC was working wonderful but it was throwing water and it was water all over the floor I have pictures about this!I called the manager and he never showed up till next day he didn’t give me a good excuse why he didn’t answered and he leave me on read on the message!! But other than that the house it’s beautiful I hope next year they will fix the AC my family is thinking to rent the rest of the villas around this one!!

Perfect location, views and accommodations
My family and I visit SJDS every year or two. We love staying at Pelican Eyes. This was our first year staying in a private residence and we were not dissapinted. The house had ample space for our growing family. The location was perfect and we loved watching the sun set from the western balcony. We will definitely be booking this place again!

Beautiful spacious home with gorgeous views! George was a wonderful host.
Only thing preventing a 5 star rating was the wind which rattled the wooden doors and windows awaking us at times during the night. This did not dampen the vacation though! Love this home!!

An amazing epic experience!
We would have to write an epic novel to fully explain how amazing our experience was in Nicaragua and specifically at Casa de Cooper :). The house was absolutely gorgeous inside and out and so spacious for our family of 4 adults/4 children. We loved the beautiful architectural details especially the bathroom sinks, which were carved out of stone. The kids loved the pool, which they couldn't wait to get back to after our daily excursions to town or the local beaches. The views from the many balconies were beyond gorgeous. We could see the ocean, sunsets, fishing boats in the harbor, the statue of Christ, amazing cliff side homes, the forest where we zip lined, fields of green where horses and cattle grazed, and banana trees growing all around the house. We loved seeing flocks of green parakeets fly past us and waking up to the sounds of roosters crowing. George and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about things to do and places to eat. Weeks before we even arrived George helped us so much by recommending a transportation company to help us get from the airport to Granada, Ometepe, San Juan del Sur, and then back to the airport - such a gift b/c we had 8 in our party. George also provided us with a guide book to help us plan our stay in San Juan del Sur. We went zip lining, took surf lessons from a well-known and fantastic surf instructor, Baldo, went horseback riding on the beach, watched traditional Nicaraguan dancing at El Timon's, shopped at the local Pali market, and even went sailing. We were so thankful to also have access to the Pelican Eyes resort's staff for local transportation and for the most amazing snorkel/sunset sailing trip ever along the northern beaches. We can't wait to come back to Nicaragua, and we will definitely stay at Casa de Cooper again. Thank you George, Sandra, and the Casa de Cooper staff - it was the most memorable experience of our lives! We hope to see you again soon :)!

Stunning Vacation Rental with Views and privacy
We genuinely enjoyed our 3 night stay at Casa Del Cooper! We had a large group and the staff was very accommodating and kind. The house itself is beautifully designed and built, every detail is thought of. We met the Owner, George right away he was very kind and hooked the men at the house up with some incredible cigars. We didn't want to leave! The kitchen is very well stocked and the layout is great. Views are epic! Tucked away but close to town, recommend having a car. linens and every detail is high quality and well maintained. The water pressure and temperature is a rare treat in Nicaragua, we were in luxury! We had a problem with an air conditioner is one bedroom a couple nights, which affected some sleep, but once we notified the staff they were quick to fix the problem. We hope to return for regular family vacations, looking forward to more great memories in this house!

Wonderful, Wonderful A Great Place for Vacation We rented Casa de Cooper and really enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly like the pictures showed. In fact, the house was even greater than what the pictures showed. We really like the nice soft sheets on the beds and the comfortable beds. The towels were a heavy cotton style and was great to use after our hot shower. We had fresh towels every day and believe it or not, hot water! The house was everything we wished for and more. The sunsets from our private patio were unbelievable as was the service the staff showed us. We walked from the house to town most every day while staying at Casa de Cooper's Vista Paraiso. It is really a few from Paradise. We loved the outdoor cooking on the gas grill. The kitchen was well equipped with most every appliance a chef would need. It was so nice that we seldom need air-conditioning as the light breeze was refreshing. We really enjoyed the privacy we had and the great Jacques pool. The pool was located next the Master Bedroom and felt so private. Talking about the Master Bedroom, there was a double shower and double sinks that help make our stay one that would not be forgotten. The other bedrooms fit our family to a tee with the double queen beds. There was a private balcony for each of the bedrooms and a view from every place in the house. In fact, all the bedrooms had private entrances so each of our family could come and go when they wanted without disturbing others. The house was outstanding, clean and well appointed. The maid service was outstanding. In fact, we even had room service from the main resort which filled an end to a wonderful day of adventures from the zip ride and horseback riding. The food in town was excellent and very affordable. Having cocktails in Jacques was soooo relaxing after a day at the beach. Would we return? You bet we will. In fact, we look forward to our next vacation at Casa de Cooper. Nicaragua is filled with exciting places to visit. We were only able to visit a small amount of the area because of so many activities and things to do while on this Vacation. If a person is looking for a private getaway and still wanting to be close to town, this is the place to be. The Cooper's were great host. We were fortunate to meet them and get a list of all the places and activities in the area. Looking forward to returning on our next vacation.

Great Family Vacation Place!
I was lucky enough to visit Casa de Cooper in February and in March. When came in February, we had 8 people in our group and rented 3 bedrooms. 7000sq ft of living space. The second time we only needed 2 bedrooms. Very accommodating place to stay. The views were amazing from morning until sun down. The casa was extremely well appointed and luxurious. I'm very particular about nice sheets. The sheets were so soft I didn't want to get out of them. As you can see by the pictures, it's a beautiful place. It's more impressive in person. We drove down from Managua, where my daughter and grandchildren live and work, to enjoy this wonderful time together. George and Sandra were wonderful hosts. They were extremely helpful in giving information on things to do, groceries, restaurants, etc. My grandson, who is 11 and living in Managua, said he'd rate the place 5 stars because of how much fun he had, and that George was a really nice guy. Thanks so much, George and Sandra, for making us feel like we were coming home!
