"This was a beautiful villa with a really helpful host! The place was everything we needed for a weeks holiday in the sunshine, with the outside area and pool being the highlight!! It is just a small walk to the local beach which has a selection of restaurant to chose from, with a quiet non-touristy feel to it. Overall a lovely place for a holiday."

"The property manager is very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Beautiful house and common pool area, very well equipped kitchen. Roomy place for the nine of us, 5 adults, 2 teens and 2 children."

"Al principio todo parecía bien, le comunicamos a la encargada de la casa de la posibilidad de salir más tarde( parace que no se lo comentó a la propietaria) y intentamos de ordenar y tirar la basura( a pesar de solo dejar una bolsa de basura, porque las otras dos estaban rotas y que en el precio del alquiler esta los gastos de limpieza) así que usamos de nuestras bolsas para organizarlo todo, también insiste en que éramos 10 personas y no es así ( nose como ella verificará eso) . "En líneas generales bien. La casa tiene unas vistas fantásticas, es fresca, muy amplia . Hay cosas que mejorar, ya que por el precio que tiene, le faltan detalles sencillos que lo harían mucho más cómodo. Como una nevera en condiciones, la que hay es pequeña y antigua, poca vajilla, que hay que lavar después de cada comida ya que no hay para la siguiente. Los colchones un poco flojos. El aire acondicionado no andaba muy bien. Y para estancias de 14 días como la nuestra, estaría bien que te...

"The place was super cute, we absolutely loved the deck view and the beach was a short hike away. We were able to swim a little even in late November and the stargazing was wonderful. Would absolutely recommend!"

Excellent Hostal in San Jose, Nijar, Spain

"We did only stay the 1 x night as we were en-route from Alicante Airport to Fuengirola. We didn’t arrive until 18:45 but had received, by WhatsApp, clear and precise instructions on how to gain access to our room. The room was comfortable with a very nice sea view terrace. The shower was hot with a steady flow of water. Overall the room was great and the staff, that we met, were very friendly. We will certainly stay here again"

Villa Aberlado in San Jose

"With late booking and scarce flight availability, this villa had an attraction that we wanted to try. We booked last-minute flights at a premium price, booked Villa Aberlado and hired an intermediate SUV with the worry that we may struggle with luggage. On arrival at Almeria, we were gifted an upgrade to a Renault Espace which swallowed our luggage. Exactly 35 minutes steady drive we arrived to meet a Spanish agent who spoke very little English (we are in Spain!), and following a brief tour of the property we dropped our cases and headed out to the nearest supermarket some 30km away (choice of Lidl and Mercado) we subsequently learned that there are three mini-markets in the village, one at least being more than sufficient. Back to base and a good look around the Villa to find the best charcoal BBQ that I have ever encountered took hold – if you like to cook on a real charcoal BBQ then oh my, this is the best ever. This was the start of an amazing experience, our first day was blessed with sunshine and a sublime relaxation, but our next two days were horrendous rain storms that blighted Spain. Thankfully, the Villa was so comfortable and like home, that we just settled in to relax. The Villa is incredibly well-equipped, and the kitchen has absolutely everything that you need (except a kettle if you are from England for your early morning tea!) – there are no shortages of cutlery and crockery. Would we visit again? Absolutely, this place is a sure winner!"
